    Ohh thanks guys, i'll try that with the path. But when i ran windows xp i always just associated .py files with the python executable so the batch file only contained the file names instead of the python path in front of it.

    ...every guide including the new module documentation for 1.011 but i've seen this problem nowhere.. Let me explain > I first had the problem of  *.py not found. So then i searched some things and i figured i needed python 2.6 instead of 3.3. But now everytime i want to associate .py files...

    If it's based off the form ranks kit I'm afraid it wouldn't be much use to me, as that doesn't work in Warband. When you also take into consideration the formations added with the NW update, and PBOD, it would really be more trouble than it's worth to try to add some old M&B code to the mod.

    Did the AI form squares in the presences of cavalry? or are those your units in squares? Also if you don't mind, what mod were you working on?

    Those are my units in squares in those screens but the ai script included a trigger to let the ai form squares with it's infantry if cavalry was within a certain range(not perfect, but the closest i could get). And the downside was that áll infantry groups formed a square. It was based on the form ranks kit. But it looked awesome seeing those tactics come to live in m&b. So i would really like to share my code.

    Wow, very impressive. And you said you managed to get the AI to fight in lines rather than just a mass of charging, shooting soldiers?

    Oh so it was like that Mount and Empire mod but better.

    yeah the ai advanced in lines and send cavalry first in arrow formation. And then when the enemy was within a certain distance it started volley fireing.

    I think this is a rather unique problem, i tried the brytenwalda mod and the shogun mod, Both having the same problem, Already tried ALL of the existing solutions available on this forum.     This isn't a mod aiming to be of any historic value so;
    no the troops aren't going to get historical accurate names.

    Some news btw:
    I hit the engine limits so i have to think about what next, the game gets véry laggy with the current systems in place.
