What are the plans for artillery in the long run? ToTSK allows for three different gun calibres, all presently represented by the same 3D mesh, and performing nearly (possibly exactly, I'm not sure) the same. Will l'Aigle one day have multiple calibres? Will the mod also have different sets of calibres for each faction? If not cannons of different types, what of different gun classes altogether (cannon, howitzer, unicorn, mortar) with radical (even exaggerated) differences in performance for the sake of variety?
The plan is for the three choices to be guns, howitzers or mortars. Guns being the most accurate but having the smallest killing zone, mortars the opposite and howitzers in between.
Different types for each faction would be nice, but probably not that important for the time being.
Also, an 80-pounder? what's with Russians and their huge (and likely useless) guns?

Looks really nice, i see you are valuing the battles them self just like i did. I might have some code that is useful to you from my old abandoned mod. I don't know what the current state is of the code but i remember i had full working line battle ai with multiple groups working at some point.
I had stuff like this
so hit me up if your interested!
If it's based off the form ranks kit I'm afraid it wouldn't be much use to me, as that doesn't work in Warband. When you also take into consideration the formations added with the NW update, and PBOD, it would really be more trouble than it's worth to try to add some old M&B code to the mod.
Thanks, though.
