    For sure never again in early access, probably not finished either.
    Atleast not when TW calls it "finished".
    You need 4 months to release an update that consists to 95 % of bug-fixing and QoL-changes? That's not a finished product you're working with.

    You two don't know how versioning works, do you?
    And you don't know that, if you communicate for 2 months exclusivly about the 1.2-release and its big changes, people may acutally expect that to be the next public release, and not a 1.1.6-warmfix, do you?

    Of course 1.1.6 doesn't have the content of 1.2, still doesn't change the fact that it looks like a bad joke.

    The introduction of the "FoW-feature" was very controversial and I totally can understand those players, who want to remove it after all. But TW-developers, if you want to keep this feature, please at least add something like a question-mark next to parties and settlements on the world map, if...
  6. [Encyclopedia] Sorting by primary production-option

    Checking the encyclopedia for villages which produce a specific ressource is a rather tedious job right now. So it would be really nice and helpful, if you would add the option to sort the villages by their primary production.

    It's weird this topic is still pinned and you booted out 1.1.1, yes I'm backseating this, I'm a sicko
    1.1.0 was the last big update that added new features, while 1.1.1 only brought some fixes.
    From this perspective it makes sense, that 1.1.0 is kept pinned, while 1.1.1 is not.

    U really need to find a way to make saves carry over.
    My saves from 1.1.0 and even from 1.0.2 worked fine. Don't know why you should start over.

    The following issue has also been fixed with v1.1.1 already but it slipped through the cracks. Included it in the above patch notes.
    • Fixed a bug that caused relationship loss when rescuing an ally from an enemy.
    Thanks for that info. This looked like a crucial one and it was really weird, that it wasn't adressed so far.
    Guess with the current fixes, one could give the game another try and see how it runs.

    What is the current BETA version and what is the current STABLE version I am really starting to get confused. Normally TW puts BETA in the name of the BETA version and the BETA PATCH version. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. Thank you.

  12. Completely kill off main factions

    How the claimant quest is going to work if designed by the current Dev team:

    1. Open dialogue with NPC claiming to be the rightful heir to the throne and agree to do the mission.

    2. Chase down and open dialogue with X number of other lords of the faction and either convince them or pay them [or duel them] to vote in favour of new heir, similar to the barter mechanic.

    3. Vote takes place, new heir elected and previous leader vanishes from game.

    4. 4000 denars pocketed.

    Now it's perfect.

    Would have thought something like this would have gone into the ''Silent' Hotfix Patch Notes' section they created instead.
    It would fit there, yes, but you know how people are: A lot wouldn't recognize this hotfix, because it would have been a silent one, and so instead there would be a lot of complaining, why the developers would do nothing a whole week after they released such a buggy 1.1.0.

  15. Any advantage to use 1h axes?

    I think axes can break shields easier
    Yes, from my experience they do significantly more damage to shields than swords.
    So as soon as you have to break a shieldwall, the 1h axes are a viable option.

    Edit:
    And that's what makes duelling the boss of the forest bandits in early game so dangerous: He has a strong axe which destroys beginner-shields in few hits, while on the other hand his shield is tough enough to last the whole fight.

    Played the update for three hours and encountered no real bug so far, except for Rhagaea's hair clipping through the crown.

    What I like are the added tooltips on various occasions.

    What I dislike is not the hero-Fog of War per se, but the fact that if you see a hero on the global map, you can't tell if you miss his info and should go to meet him, or if you already know and so can ignore him. It would be good, if there would be an icon or something, to tell you if it's a known or a stranger hero.
  17. Exchange the bow for crossbow in fitting starts

    Well, the Simple light crossbow starts at 1.5k, which should be as much or more than the starting gear combined from every other youth-start; so I kind of get your point there.

    Still, that you can start with one-hands, polearms, bows and throwing weapons (not sure about the two-hands) but not with a crossbow, seems a bit wierd. Would be really nice, if a cheap crossbow as a starting option would be introduced. (And maybe for some bandits in the western part of the continent?)

    I would like to see the deserter-partys being back too.
  19. Exchange the bow for crossbow in fitting starts

    If you choose as a Vlandian or Empire-character "stood guard with the garrisons" in your youth, you get a skillpoint in crossbow (and engineering), but a normal bow as a starting gear. Wouldn't a crossbow instead of a bow as starting gear be more fitting here? And it would also be really great...
