  1. Sieges battles are easy and boring, here's my suggestions

Gonna copy this from a thread:

There's also the fortified lords keep in both the castles and city but especially the cities. There are historical moments where a city was taken but it couldn't be held since the attackers could not take out the fortress in the city.
  2. (Vote included) New update and the caravan remains 30. And it was claimed it get supported

This. The only people bawling their eyes out are mad they can't be filthy rich a few days into game

To be honest a lot of the 'no more nerfs!' type posts I see are basically people mad something they were using to cheese the game got fixed (the clay thing for example).
  3. 1.2.0 Towns are (almost) bankrupt

Let's be real. This wouldn't be a problem if people weren't used to dropping tens of thousands worth of junk gear from their infinite baggage train after slaughtering some ever-respawning recruits and lords.

Lords magically conjuring up free resources needs to be curttailed for gameplay and for the economy. And weapons/armor making no sense price-wise needs to be absolutely eliminated. As another poster put it: you can kill a guy a take his mail shirt, sell the mail shirt, then upgrade 10 of his buddies with new mail shirts. It makes no sense.

I'm all for limiting the over abundance of money but the issue here is that whatever was done that's masking these caravans drain the cities was overtuned since cities shouldn't be hovering around 0-500 gold.
  4. 1.2.0 Towns are (almost) bankrupt

I actually like this (not with this low of wealth value), but in how much the funds of a city fluctuates with the caravans. When the devs were talking about things they wanted in implement into Bannerlord, they brought up one being war through merchantilism, bankrupting the opposing factions to weaken them. If this is tweaked a little to allow fluctuations from, maybe 10k to 50k, I think it would work well. Add in ways to monopolize or restrict certain trade items and commodities, and it will add another level of strategy to the game!

Yea I do like the idea of money actually mattering and the issue right now is more that it's just overtuned.

With the caravans being attacked isn't all the stuff they had on lost forever? So isn't the global market losing tons of goods all over the place all the time? Demand was already very high during endgame due to constant wars ravaging villages, there won't be enough goods to supply cities like this.

I thought this could be a part of it but I have the patrol mod so the looters and such aren't as over abundant. I've also checked the caravans before and after and they have plenty of goods and money before and after.

For example a Vlandia caravan before going to Poros had 10k and tons of goods and after Poros it still had 10k and tons of good (mostly since the city couldn't buy most the goods).

I noticed all the surrounding villages are still sitting at 1k too so even they are broke.
  5. 1.2.0 Towns are (almost) bankrupt

I don't think it's that, all the towns are going down into the 2,000 dollar range within 5 minutes of playing.

Seems to fluctuate constantly and definitely related to caravans. I made a new game and went to Poros and had the game pass time and watched the city go down to 3k after many caravans went to the city. I then noticed the city slowly get back to 8k and it sat there for a while till a new caravan came by and the city then went to 2k and went back to 7k once the caravan left. After that caravan I waited for a while and a new caravan came by and the city then went to 3k and didn't go back up then the next caravan came by and took the city to 0 and once it left the city was at 2k. Maybe this is an issue that resolves itself as caravans stabilize (doesn't look like it after waiting for quite a while) or it's a problem with cities buying too much.

Is it just me or does reloading seem to give all the cities gold?

I didn't see the cities gold change when reloading.
  6. Castles Should be Harder to Get and More Useful When You Do

The sieges have to be improve a lot right now: it's too easy take a castle, defenders are shooting arrows very slowly in my opinion (and are weirdly changing positions), and for what i've seen those balistas never used. You can take a castle with a ratio of army/defenders of 1/1. In reality you need at least 3x more army than defenders to assault a castle (if you have some siege engines) and like x5 times if you have just ladders. The castles should get stock of arrows (could be linked to a smith) that allow defenders to replenish their ammo. I agree with all other ides here: very good suggestions.

I've seen the AI use the ballistas all the time. Also there are stocks of arrows on the walls.
  7. Castles Should be Harder to Get and More Useful When You Do

Theres a mod for that

Which one? The only one I see has that as a future thing to implement.
  8. When there's 3 or more javelins in your shield... you pretty much shouldn't be able to use it.

If we make shield react realistically then we should also make arrows vs chain mail realistic. Ranged is already extremely powerful as it is and seeing as shields are not as much missile magnets as they were in Warband, I don't want any nerf to how shields are currently. There's a point when hyper realism does not equate to better/more fun game.

To defend op they absolutely were designed to be able to pierce shields and reach the wielder or to force the person to drop the shield.

I think the issue with the video is the shield is just made of plywood and not made at all the way an actual Roman shield would. There's also the fact that this game is based on the weaponry and armor of a later time period than antiquity and many shields do have a metal layer above the wood like the kite shields.
  9. Directional combat/ import and export character.

And please bring back importing and exporting characters. Even if its just import/exporting the looks of a character and the level, that would save people alot of time. along with a respec tool.

CTRL + C copies a character appearance and CTRL + V pastes it in. Yes it's not very intuitive yet but it's there.
  10. What happened to my Nords?

bannerlord is set before warband, the norse are not here yet.
either they arrived later or one of the cultures evolved into the norse as we know them of warband.

I assume the Nords are on the inaccessible northern landmass that is likely the Scandinavia of this world.Since it's also almost fully on the map maybe it'll be something added in a later patch/DLC.
