    Sadly there is, due to it being physics based as long as the weapon is in blocking animation and makes collision with a active weapon before it hits their body, it'll be considered a block.

    Left/Right spam with a large weapon is often more effective than even trying to block in the correct direction for a newer player, though that initial up block to left/right did look a little autoblocky.
    What the ****. In my 400hours i never noticed or it never happened to me, everytime i missblocked with a side block I got hit

    There's no blocking a swing with the wrong direction in this game, it can only be a missdisplay due to desync. And seeing a player who looks very new in his movement, attacks, p-much everything other than blocking then reads blocks from 3+ inputs seems a bit off :unsure:

    Hello, I'm a big siege enjoyer since it's p-much the only server i can play on due to ping issues. But i've been witnessing a few autoblockers (I think) lately. I am worried it starts to spread more and more. Here's a clip of what I think is an autoblock. What do you guys think? Am i mistaken...

    I can already hear the music blasting in my headphones as soon as I join a public server, and knowing how cancerous the community became in the last years, just by reading the ingame chat... I can tell it's going to be 100% Toxic , just look at Holdfast, Holdfast is an example of voice chat gone wrong, Nazi songs playing in the background, people screaming and using autotunes, racist slurs, jokes about minorities...bring voice chat to bannerlord and the overall multiplayer quality is guaranteed to drop,

    This game has been surviving this long without any voice chats, the community found ways to communicate on his own (TeamSpeak, Discord) I don't see any reason to bring this, it will only cause more harm than good
    I disagree, Holdfast is popular just thanks to this, it's often nonsense yes but for the time I've tried it was mostly screaming in charges, average jokes and that's it, not much toxicity. Voice-chat is skirm will be "serious" but VC in siege and TDM can bring so much content and fun. Yes it's not "immersive" but a good melee system AND a meme-filled VC will surely be a really unique experience. And if you don't like it, disable it I guess :grin: .

    2 inf should always be able to kill 1 guy, not being able to kick that guy will just lead to necessity of breaking his shield, which is gonna be more stupid than kicking, cause 20s smorc spam hitting won't improve 2v1 gameplay.
    Right now still you have a chance to handle 1v2 even against good enemies, yes it is hard, but if you keep yourself in a position where only 1 enemy can reach you and agressively fient-spam him, not letting him kick you, you have a chance.
    Imo 1v2 balance is fine, 2 players should have a great advantage, this is a basics of MnB

    What about duels, you guys should also complain on sword right swing being op, it hits you, dealing damage and preventing your attack. Kicking is a natural part of bl gameplay and for being good 1v1 you should learn kicking and avoiding kicks. Footwork was a key infantry skill in both bannerlord and warband
    I rarely play shield bc I always found it a waste of enjoyment ie not using blocks so I was mostly talking about this POV. Anyways if you have a decent coordination/timing it shouldnt take too long to kill someone with a shield, especially if he's just a RMB holder and with the openings around the shield in BL. Or maybe what needed to be done is nerf shield HP (or make swings do more damage to shields).
    And yes I agree it should always be tough to survive a 1vX against good oponents and unlikely to win. But the E mashing can sometimes lead to instant delete of the 1 which is pretty ridiculous.

    It's not only about dueling, kicking can be as annoying in every situation. 1vX is crippled by that very mechanic, especially footwork, by an undefendable offensive move. Especially if you play heavier slower inf, if you have 2 or more players rushing to kick you, there's a high chance of them to land it and stunlock you even if you're insane at footwork and blocking. That's one of the most frustrating things for now. The fact that you don't need to predict where the player goes if you want to land and the fact that you can land on someone backing (warband had it perfect on the kick I gotta agree on this even tho I prefer Bannerlord now).

    I think the melee itself is pretty reliable rn, of course it could be better but without kicks as an offensive tool, everything would be pretty much defendable and balanced. I like it a bit faster than warband and being able to accel/drag. What the game would need too is a GF mod for melee enthousiasts like in mordhau. XvXs no shields, melee only. What tarnishes the game are rat tactics preventing ppl for using melee.
