    Or you can play with both on your TV for a perfect combo (The benefits from both. I'm doing this since 2 years now, and I love it. I wouldn't change it for anything). Mouse + Gamepad.

    Tweak request - remove spears from tournaments and the arena

    The spear is one of my favourites weapons. It's a little hard to master, but once you've tamed it, it's an excellent weapon (even for tournaments). Its only flawless is, like Articulo34 said, when you are surrounded by 3 or more enemies.

    The key for use it well, is to force your enemies to back off pouncing on them, and then, step back and thrust.
    When your enemy is a spearman, do the same but wait and dodge his attack to thrust him (it's a little more difficult to do and you need to be more quicker). If you are good enough, you can even break/counter your enemy's thrust if you manage to attack him at the very moment he starts to launch his attack.

    That's a serious issue, I beat the game and

    killed Sven and all his men, and then my mother stab me in the back and almost killed me if it wasn't for my friends. What the hell ? All the effort for this conclusion ? And after that filthy treason (by that *****) I have no choice but to give her a sumptuous expensive funeral and I can't even spit on her grave...

    but otherwise I loved your game guys :mrgreen:

    It's possible to merge it with the wound system of VC ? That way, if you are crippled, you get those new penalties instead of the old ones, like -1 AGI, etc... (maybe if you don't heal well, we can keep the -1 AGI, cause otherwise the new system will be too penalising if it turns permanent)

    You can use this in a simpler form if you only take the equipment HP (legs, chest, helmet)

    If I understand it well, you can read the HP from those equipments ? If it's true, maybe if we do a certain amount of damage the limbs become crippled. For Example, if we do 50 damage to the legs, the target can't run anymore, but if we only do 25, the target will not be crippled yet. The next attack with mini 25 damage will cripple his legs systematically.

    Thanks a lot kalarhan, with 19 in charisma (I had 10) now the prices turn to their original values ! :grin:

    I just checked 1.03. With 8 in trade skill, you can sell ruffians to 48.
    Now in 1.04 beta you can only sell them to 6 (prices have been divided by 8 ).

    The prices to sell stuff and slaves are dived by 8. Is this normal ? That breaks a lot the game specially when you play as viking, and I don't think it's really realistic (if that was the reason of this choice). Please, I hope you will revert the old values, cause I love your game guys, but now is pretty unplayable !

    Don't know if that's really a problem but, I was doing a quest for Northhymbre from the main story line (conquering/defending during 30 days a Pict's fort), and then Jarl Rathbarth Ragnarsson betrayed our Kingdom. Now he is a warlord of Alban...
    Hopefully I managed to talk to him, and the main quest isn't broken, but it's weird to talk to him as an enemy.

    Yes the same here. For a Viking game, it's weird that looting and slavery aren't a good source of income anymore...
    There is a way to turn the old values but with the other benefits of 1.04 ? (too hard to be a Viking now)

    3.1 Suggestion: Crippled limbs for player and IA

    3.2 How it works: When you critically hit an arm or a leg, they are automatically crippled. That means :
    crippled arm = your attacks do -50% less damage
    2 crippled arms = you can't use weapons
    1 leg = can't run
    2 legs = can't run + -50% walking speed

    3.3 Why: More immersive and tactical combats.


    I know that's really hardcore, but I'll love to play that. The only game where I saw these mechanics is Bushido Blade. An old game that I really loved !

    Bleeding injuries feature

    You were all right, I just bleed playing the campaign earlier. But sadly, it's very rare, and happens when you have only 10-15 like Sir_Dara said, and you can't bleed to death. I hope it'll be improved, maybe changing the bleed trigger to be active when we are critically hit for example, and be able to bleed to death (same for IA too). And stop/slow bleeding if we use some bandages and when used, playing an animation where we can't move during 30 seconds (but that's maybe difficult, and too much to ask I know...).

    Ok, I found the script in Brytenwalda. Gonna try to implement it in VQ. Maybe I'll post the modded files here if you want (only if devs are ok, don't know if I'm allowed to mod VQ).
