    I just tested the 1.5.6 beta and the issue is still present (same game save):
    - opponent Adrichea stops playing
    - I use 'Forfeit' then try play again, game crashes
    - I have sent the crash report with description pointing to this thread

    I hope this is not considered solved based on what I have read in the Beta 1.5.6 Patch Notes: "Needs to Deliver Herd" issue duration is increased to 30 days.

    I think there is a misunderstanding of the problem because of the title of my post.

    The title should be changed from

    Quest "bring herd to a friend at the end of the world in 4 days"

    to

    Quest "Needs to Deliver Herd" is impossible to finish successfully (target NPC to whom the herd must be delivered is killed in gang fight on the same day when the quest is given)

    I can't believe it is intended. How can someone intend to make the quest impossible to achieve? It makes no sense.
    The quest target dies as soon as I get the quest so it's impossible to achieve the quest.
    When target dies quest is not canceled immediately but the delay runs until it reaches "0 days left". Then I get a message "you didn't bring herd in time to target" which doesn't make sense. I can't bring the herd to the target because he is not in the town because he is dead (in encyclopedia he is marked as dead the day I got the quest).

    The only thing that makes sense to me is that it is an "unintended" consequence of a combination of 2 events:
    1. gang leader dies in gang fights
    2. when quest is given to player a random target among all gang leaders is selected as quest target

    And developers didn't anticipate the fact a quest target may die in a gang fight (maybe deaths from other reasons but not death following a gang fight).

    I just tested the 1.5.5 beta and the issue is still present (same game save).
    The only difference I noticed is that this time the "Forfeit" button is available and allows me to exit the Talbut game.
    However, when I tried to launch a second Talbut game with same character (Adrichea) the game crashed (I sent the crash report with link to this thread).

    My report was not about the penalty, it was about the fact the quest is impossible to achieve if the quest target (the guy that I need to give the herd to) is killed the same day they quest is given to me.
    Please move back to bugs forum.

    Bug: the quest target (a gang leader) is killed before I get to meet him and hand over the herd and peasants. Quest is considered failed (instead of canceled without penalty) because I haven't delivered the herd on time. Possible correction: I should be able to bring back herd to the quest...

    Please develop your suggestion. How would it improve gameplay? have you encountered any problems with 84 days a year ?
    Personally I haven't noticed there were 84 days in a bannerlord year.

    I'm sorry, but I'm just gonna leave this here.

    I mean you could have created about 20 threads with your suggestions, just counting your headlines. Skimming your suggestions there are some, I'd support and some I'd definitely oppose. But to that, I would usually quote each of them and then answer them, which would make my post gigantic.
    I also refuse to answer the poll, because I don't think it serves a purpose.

    The thing is. TWs spokesperson(s) here made it clear, they are reading in the forum. But you know, your first post ist so long and hard to read, it creates an inhibition threshold. It's touching multiple issues in the game, which are not connected.
    I clicked the thread, but declined to read it a couple of times, before skimming it today. I'm on vacation time during a pandemic right now, I do believe I've got a bit more time on my hand, then the devs have. So if I'm not reading through your monster post, I'd be surprised if TW did.

    Please consider splitting your thread.

    I understand your point. But I still consider keeping this "gigantic thread" or "monster thread" with all my suggestions since it is easier for me to keep track of my suggestions.
    The second reason is I believe that TW devs will do read this weekly updated list of suggestions if there are enough players who will vote that they agree with 80% or more of the suggestions.
    The idea behind this is that I think players with similar playing styles will regroup around a list of suggestions. So instead of multiple individual "contextless" suggestions we would see "monster suggestion threads" that each represent a playing style which the suggestions are related to. And by doing this (creating a "playing style context") it would help TW devs better understand why these suggestions were made in the first place, why they are important for the "specific playing style" and if they cannot implement it exactly as requesrted, at least TW devs will hopefully get the point and come up with an alternative implementation that will suit the players expectations.

    For this idea of "monster thread of suggestions arund a playing style" to work I will integrate whatever ideas you guys will add in replies to this post and which I agree with more or less.
    Maybe we should let TW devs tells us what they think (instead of speaking for them).

    I am able to reproduce this problem systematically with the following game save : mysave.sav
    I am trying to increase the relationship score of my character with his recently married wife hoping this will increase the number of heirs they will produce.

    Steps to reproduce the Talbut game freeze:
    1. Go to Saneopa keep
    2. Find Adrichea
    3. Start a Talbut game
    4. Adrichea plays a move, my character plays a move, then Adrichea stops moving her pawns

    Let me know if you can reproduce this problem too with the same game save.

    Thank you for your comments, I took them into consideration when updating my post with new suggestions. Let me know more so I can add/improve the list.

    I don't think it is good idea to implement penalties. It is safer to implement only "bonuses" and implement penalties only AND only for game balance (there should be a clear use case that explains why a penalty is needed).

    A question for Rabia Adıgüzel, will I have to restart my future M&B II Bannerlord campaign from point zero in order to benefit from future M&B II Bannerlord patches ?

    Or will there be some kind of forward compatibility between ongoing campaigns started in version X of the game and patches that change the game to version X + 1 ?
  13. Treat your men to dinner

    Add possibility to play gambling games and add more people in taverns with more noise (similar to tournaments where you can here the spectators) .
    Games should be real medieval games and make the time fly faster (similar to what happens when you train yourself in the training camps)
    Add some immoral activities where soldiers could get their moral up after losing a battle  :roll:
    This could enhance immersion into those medieval times.

    Same ideas for castle halls : a lord gets bored and invites other lords to play a medieval chess game in his castle or in his luxurious hotel in one of the towns (don't know what kind of games lords played at that time)

    Anyway adding some distracting games inside the game itself is an interesting idea.

  14. Version 0.954 bug reports

    Concerning messages not showing bug and script error message in inventory in 0.954

    When you hover your mouse over an item in inventory there is an error message showing :

    SCRIPT ERROR ON OPCODE 23: Invalid script parameter ID: 2; LINE NO: 2:
    etc etc

    If you hover too many times there are many messages of script error generated which makes all messages not showing for some time because they are queued (which also happens if you use for example the CTRL+F4 cheat to kill all your opponents)

    I opened the file <game_folder>/Modules/Native/scripts.txt and searched for the script N°23 (it's the 24th but I think counting starts at 0). There are 2 lines corresponding to this script :

    ...

    I replaced these 2 lines with the same 2 lines of the scripts.txt file in the previous .953 version and it worked : there are no more script errors when hovering over inventory items and messages show again correctly.

  15. Version 0.952 Bug reports

    Just an idea : wouldn't it be more helpful to have a bug reporting thread for each category of bugs.

    For example : stability (assertion fails, graphics, crashes ...), gameplay (script errors, exploits, things not going as they should ...) and minor bugs (grammar, needed gameplay improvings, etc)

    Playing version 9.51

    1. BUG (TEXT)

              - In arena fights, the tournament master dialog : "About the melee fights > Can you tell me more about rewards"
              - The rewards description doesn't match the real rewards (2 denars for 5 opponents instead of 5, 15 denars for 10 oppponents instead of 20, 30 denars for 20 oppponents instead of 50)

    2. BUG (ASSERTION FAILED)

              - I made a game save while I was in Praven
              - When I reload click on the town name and try to "Take a walk on the streets" I have an "Assertion Failed" error message systematically
              - I don't know how to upload or where to send the game save

    3. BAD FEATURE (ITEM)

              - Gauntlets have same weight as leather gloves : 0.3
              - Aren't Gauntlets supposed to weigh more as they are made from metal ?

    4. BAD FEATURE (ARENA FIGHTING)

              - It's frustrating to have enemies spawn just near you and often behind you
              - Make them spawn at the gates each time a bot dies in the arena
              - For example before entering the arena a random number determines how many fighters will be at the same time in the arena
              - Each time a fighter dies another spawns at the gates
              - If more fighters die at the same time let the new fighters that replace them to spawn at the gates with for example a 5 seconds interval

    5. SUGGESTION (COMBAT)

              - Sometimes defending takes too long using the current mouse gesture and right button click (or any other key)
              - Experienced AI soldiers sometimes abandon very fast their initial attack and start another one and to counter his next attack I have to click and move the mouse correctly at the same time which is difficult IMO (attack is normally slower than defense ?)
              - I suggest to add a key that when kept pressed allows you to switch between defense positions by just moving the mouse
              - While keeping this key pressed no body rotating will be allowed (contrary to the current case : when you keep right mouse button down you can rotate your body)

              - Maybe a similar thing can be done for attacking using the same key
              - While keeping this new key pressed you can attack just by moving the mouse without clicking the left mouse button

              - This new key could allow players to fight better with 2 or more enemies
              - Another solution could be to let the right mouse button click execute this new function and another key will allow for body rotating only (or let the player choose)

    6. SUGGESTION (STRATEGY)

              - Add banks similar to the other shops where lords can come borrow money for war
              - Allow player to deposit money and items somewhere (a bank or a trusted friend) to keep them safe from bandits
