Falcon was taking critical damage from the attackers. Over half of the crew was killed, and half of the remaining where wounded. The ship was stuck without communications or means of escaping. Dal saw escape pods launching from the wreck of Cerberus.

"We need to evacuate now!" Dal shouted to the Commander.

"Prepare for emergency evacuation!" The Commander shouted into the comms. People rushed into the escape pod hangar. The attackers started fireing at the launched pods.

"Their shooting the pods...  Abort evacuation!" The Commander shouted. Dal saw boarding frigates approaching the Falcon.

Soldiers rushed to defend the docking ports. Most of the attackers retreated into portals, leaving only the boarding frigates. Dal took a rifle from a nearby weapon rack and formed up with 3rd squad. Captain Kinley and a few dozen soldiers were waiting in positions. The docking ports door was blown up, and heavily armored forces started emerging.

"Arians!" Kinley shouted. The 3rd squad was badly outnumbered. Both sides were taking losses.

"Dal, youre a engineer, right? We need to blow up that docking port!" Kinley said into his squad comm.

"Yes sir.." Dal answered, took some explosives and started advancing toward the door. Dal set up the explosive.

"Covering fire!" Dal shouted and rushed to place the explosive. Dal retreated back to cover, soon the explosive exploded, knocking some soldiers down and shutting the docking port.

"Good job Dal. 2nd squad, whats your status? Alpha, come in? Damn, we lost contact with 2nd squad, form up, were going there." Kinley said to the remaining soldiers in his team. They started running to the port 2nd squad was defending. They were halfway there when a explosion blew Pvt. Lewis and Pvt. Thomson. The rest of the squad got separated from eachother.

"Damn it! Squad, regroup at the Command bridge!" Those were the last words of Kinley...

Can't see much of a difference either, the other one just has [/quote] in the end...

"He'll be alright, hes just unconscious." One of the medics replied.

A bomber squadron started its bombing run against Valkyrie. A few hits destroyed the command bridge, and some hit the frigates reactor, overheating them. Soon the frigate
blew up in a huge explosion.

"We need to pull out, or were all dead!" The captain said. The fleet was overwhelmed by the enemy, and over half of the fighter were destroyed. More attackers emerged from new portals. The Falcon activated its engines, getting ready to jump. New bomber squadrons attacked, crippling the Falcon's engines, canceling the jump.

"Damnit!" The captain shouted.

Cerberus was hit in its fuel storage, blowing up half of the ship. Falcon's radars started beeping, showing incoming ships.

Dal saw the dark green blip fade away.

"Hes lost." The captain said

"He can still be alive! Anyone willing to come with me? Atleast to retrieve his corpse?"

"Are you mad? Its suicide out there!"

A couple of pilots volunteered anyway . Dal took them to the hangars, jumped into a freighter and piloted it out of the hangar.
Dal saw the Aurigian fighter.

"Open the Cargo Hold!"

The freighters big cargo hold opened. Dal and the other pilots aligned the door with the fighter. The fighter crash landed into the freighter, making the fighter almost irreparable. They were not safe yet, hot, blazing plasma flew all around and a couple of fighters were heading Dal's way. One of the pilots on board put the deflector shield up and armed the freighters turret. A few attacking fighters were destroyed by Falcons turrets, and a few more by the freighters turret. A rocket hit the freighters engines, crippling them. Dal thought they are dead, but a few friendly wings destroyed the last unknown fighters. Dal navigated the ship into Falcons hangar through the battlefield.

Medics rushed into the hangar, on board the freighter.

"Is he alive..?"

Dal to the rescue! 

The one with me and Messenger is taking place near Heran Loma

Dal heard beeping from the communications computer.

"Th...  ..hyr C..liniv of the A..igi Spec.. ...ntry ser...e, we a.. .out to be un.. ...eavy enem... ..tack, permissio.... ....... ...aft?"

Dal spoke into the com. "Someone there? Please repeat."

"This is Fa..yr Ciliniv, we are und.. attack, reque.... permission to dock w... your ship!"

"Copy that, your cleared to dock."

The Falcons hangar door opened, launching the first wave of fighters to counter the attacking ships. The plasmas started firing, giving supporting fire for the Aurigians.
Soon, also Valkyrie and Cerberus launched their fighters and started firing. The ships went sideways, forming a half ring. The attackers were soon upon them.

At the time, Dal had reported the missing fleet, the unknown attackers and the destruction of Independence. Dal was assigned to a Destoyer class frigate to investigate the attackers, being the only known one to survive. The ship, named Falcon, joined up wiht the rest of the fleet, constisting of 2 Assault class frigates, Valkyrie and Cerberus, and  Falcon. The fleet jumped into hyperspace. After emerging from hyperspace nearby, the ships scanners stated beeping, showing multiple targets.

"There!" Dal shouted from the command bridge. From the viewport, he saw BiTek fighters, most probably Aurigian, and incoming ships. Dal recognized the ships to be the same ones that attacked Independence. There was little chance the fighters could fend off the attackers, even if they would be skilled.

"Arm the turrets! Pilots, into the fighters!" The commander of Falcon shouted.

Isn't KoC the one that has a tail? 

Dal had no supplies in the small pod, and sent a distress signal. He knew that the unknown attackers could pick it up and trace him, but he had no other choice.

"This is Dal, anyone there. I'm a survivor from the Independence, we were intercepted by unknown fighters, reguesting pickup."

A nearby freighter delivering ore from asteroids heard the signal.

"This is Captain Rab, were tracing you, give us a few minutes."

"Copy that"

Soon, Dal saw a portal open nearby from the pods viewport. Dal activated the pods thrusters and flew into the freighters cargo hold.
Dal was greeted by Captain Rab.

"Hello, were going to Heran Loma, we can drop you to the Naval base there, are you good at anything?"

"Yeah, im a engineer, but I lost my tools." Dal replied.

"We can give you a spare set, our left engine is crippled, can you see if you can fix it?"

"Whatever."

After a few hours, Dal got the engine fixed along wiht some other engineers. The freighter jumped into hyperspace and emerged near Heran Loma. The ship was assigned landing codes and landed into the base.

"Thanks for the ride."

"See ya Dal, thanks to you for repairing the engine, you can keep the tools if you want."

Cali went to inform the commander about the unknown attackers and destruction of Independence.

Humans have a tail now?

Kale Assault Class frigate named Independence destroyed by unknown attackers.

The Independence powered its engines and opened a portal into hyperspace. A few minutes later, the ship arrived to the outer planets of Kale. They were to meet the rest of the fleet over here, but there was nothing but dark, cold space around. The frigates radars and sensors started beeping, showing tens of portal opening up near by. Fighters and bombers emerged. The ship started identifying the ships.

"Investigation Error: Model: Unknown"

The unknown bombers launched its torpedoes, doing a critical hit in the engine area. the Independence was immobilised, its only option was to fight.

"Arm the turrets. Enemy fighter squadrons incoming, this is not a drill"

Dal ran to the hangars, most of the fighter were destroyed by a couple of torpedoes, Dal's included. Dal ran to the turret deck, jumped into the controls of a rapid plasma and started firing at the incoming fighters. The odds were against Independence, but the skilled pilots and gunners downed lots of enemy spacecraft. The ships deflector shield was activated. The attacking forces couldn't do anything until the shield was disabled. The bombers launched ion fire, and eventually bypassed the shield. Soon, the command bridge was destroyed, and the enemy began boarding operations. Dal left the turret, went to the engine controls and started reapiring the engines with other engineers. A warning was given.

"Hull damage critical"

A nearby blast killed many engineers, and Dal fled to the escape pods. Most of them had already launched, but Dal was able to find one. The pod launched, and after a while Dal could see the Independence reactor blowing up, and the frigate with it.

Independence was lost...

In the cantina was a man named Dal, waiting for his ship to leave. Dal saw the bounty hunter.

"This place is full of bounty hunter scum.." he said to himself.

Dal drank his drink and left the cantina, going to the Kale Naval Force main hangar. He boarded the ship and started making
repairs and modify his pistol. Soon, the countdown began and the Assault Class Frigate, named Independence flew into space.

Race: Kale (Human)
Profession: Kale Naval Force Engineer

Appearance: Dal is just a normal engineer in the Naval Force. He liked building an repairing
mechanical devices, and was hired as a junior engineer for the Naval Forces at the age of 12.
Dal has black, short hair. He has light blue eyes, and a scar at his left arm. His clothing
consists of a either a Marine suit, or a pilot suit. On his belt is a holster for his own
made, high powered plasmapistol.

Personality: Dal is mostly cold towards others. He thinks that pride and honor are pointless,
and only lead to failure. His parents were captured slavers and bounty hunters, and sold to
a passing crime lord. He destroys all slavers and bounty hunters possible. He tries to get
a hold of a ship of his own.

Weapons: Modified CiriC P-92, with automatic and semi fire, fireing high power plasma.
Armor: CiriC Combat Pilot Suit, CiriC 1400X Military Belt.
