  1. i ve got a script error.

    hi everyone, ok i need help because this script drive me insane, so,  while working on my mod, this error has been popping since i ve added the amazing shield bashing (by xenoargh). i ve asked on the right thread but this seems too old... this pops up in game : "Warning on opcode 1768...
  2. OSP Code Combat Shield Bash (OSP)

    wow MP bashing. that's sound great for epic fights  :smile:

    for SP i try to change some bashing animations. and i would know if it s possible with anim flags to start an anim at the frame 20 (for example) of an other animation.

    my problem is i have an bashing animation in 2 times : the player back his shield to himself then hardly push forward. So i need the shield_strike animation starts when agent is hit by shield.
    Actually agents are bashed when i prepare bashing. yesterday night i ve made some test but i can't figure how to get it works.

    any ideas are welome  :grin:

    BTW, i ve a script error about bad agent ID. the shield bashing works but i ve these damned red scipt
    lines in front of my eyes when playing. it's really annoying.

    i don't know why, build module runs fine and  i ve read the code many, many times. i can't find my mistake :sad: :sad:

    i ve just pasted-copied the code :mrgreen:

    in other hand, is there a way to desactivate system warnings ?

    EDIT: if someone is interesting by this bashing animation, you ll find it in MP Kengeki 0.95 mod. there is three BRF animation files. but you need to download the whole mod

    Python 2.7 works nice with module system 1.010 but NOT with template_tools.py          This is bad for me

    are u playing with Warband or 1.011 ? because i ve tried to put this code on WB, and, like you, it doen't happens nothing. i think the code is too old.

    this code works with WB. i ve just tried it. but i still have got red script error. i explain my problem on the last post thread.

    EDIt : i ve got successfull changed key control for bashing :smile: :smile: : i ve put right mouse button hold then push left control. in my opinion, it's better because if i bash with left mouse button, it was messed up with the regular strike. :grin: tell me if u want the code but it's very easy. but i ve still red script error when bashing :cry: :cry: :cry: HELP ME PLEASE :cry: :cry: :cry:

    first thx xenoargh to share this amazing code.

    it since 2 days i tried to implement old shield bash (1.011) without success. so it's works quite well. but, i ve got red script error when bashing. maybe i miss something.

    EDIT : Warning on code 1768: invalid agent_id:0; line no: 6:

    sry if i annoy you but i need a little help to put me on the good way.

    BTW, i ve found a cool animation bashing in the ShinobiKinzokuHasu mod. it's like 300 movie's when spartiats lines push back the Persians with their shield. i think it's a cool anim for bashing.
    but the problem is i haven't got source code for this animation, only BRF. so i need some advise on how implement this anim with shield bash. i know how major system files works but i m a noob with flags, variables, constants, numbers, and other stuff

    i'm not complain or troll about your work.

    oh and of course, u will be credited in my mod

    so is there a difference between try_end (Warband code) and end_try (shield bash code) ?

    i assume it's a stupid question since i'm not experienced modder :smile:

    i'm not familiar with building scenes or entry_points. :oops: i answered your second question.

    and to change items name when it pop in front of you, change them in item_kinds.csv.

    The names will be modified in inventory and battlefield.

    dans une ville par exemple, il y a je crois en gros un entry point par PNJ + le joueur + les scènes affilliées à la ville : dongeon, salle du trône....

    j'espère pas avoir dit une connerie plus grosse que moi mais il me semble que c'est ça.

    bonjour,

    je passais par là et j'ai lu les posts précédant,
    Zendar et les autres scènes ( auberge des 4 chemins, dongeon de dhorak....) existent encore. ces scènes sont juste désactivées. pour les activer il faut télécharger le Module System

    la version est 1.1126.
    il y a des tutos pour installer le Module system dans "The Forge" sur la page d'acceuil du forum

    quand le MS est installé, va dans module_parties.py (clic-droit edit with IDLE ou Notepad)
    (zendar est à la première ligne) il faut supprimer le premier attribut pf_disabled. et c'est tout. mais il ya tout à modeller dans la ville. c'est tout moche lol

    tu fais pareil pour l'entrée dhorak_keep, salt_mine, four_ways_inn


    grâce au MS tu peux faire des nouvelles scènes,au niveau des entry point je sais pas mais je pense que oui
