  1. Question Regarding High Tier Armor and Weapons.

Other than inventory cheats and stealing them off a spouse noble, is there any legitimate way of obtaining them?
  2. I Got the "Pureblood" Horse Legitimately.

Yeah they weren't there. What culture did you choose for your character? I started as vladian
    I started as an imperial.
  3. I Got the "Pureblood" Horse Legitimately.

I started a new game right when 1.4.3 dropped and my family members did not have these Pureblood horses. I have a feeling they got left in one of the hotfixes by accident.
That's when I started my new game too. Did you check their civilian gear? I think I found the horse there. If not, then I guess it got sneak fixed.
  4. I Got the "Pureblood" Horse Legitimately.

My younger sister had a Pureblood in her inventory. Was that meant to be? Or was that an unintentional bug? Its stats: Charge Damage: 35 Speed: 65 Maneuver 65 Hit Points: 270 This thing is a ****ing tank. It has 35 charge damage. **** my 170 damage glaive and my Noble Bow, I will no longer use...
  5. Character Customization Small Change Request.

Is it possible to add number values to sliders? I have OCD and the sliders are very painful for me mentally because I find it hard to replicate appearances EXACTLY how I want it to be. xD So please, can you take that small request into consideration?
  6. My Clan Parties Are Not Generating Notable Relationships.

I think is it's the same thing, you parking an army in the town raises the security.
What is the message you get when relations are raised? I remember it being the same thing. If it's not then maybe they did remove it.
They're different things. It's not my town, so I can't get relationship gains with its notables by high security. This method, however, is MUCH faster and works in any city. When it used to work in my older save, that is. The messages were the typical "your relationship with xxx has been raised by x amount."
  7. My Clan Parties Are Not Generating Notable Relationships.

I'm getting the message "your relation blah blah because of high security" still in my own towns, but I haven't been a vassal in a 1.4.3 game.
Are you seeing the message at all? I'm not 100% it because I'm resting in town though, because I get when I'm away too, although my lazy companion waits in the town a lot... it's weird. It may have changed I'm not sure.
I'm not talking about the high-security relationship gains. I'm talking about relationship gains from your clan's parties.

Just in case you didn't know about that: you can form more parties using your clan members. Leading their parties into an army also costs 0 influence, giving you influence each turn depending on their number of troops. They also used to raise notable relationships with the clan really fast in the towns they rest in but they no longer seem to do that.
  8. My Clan Parties Are Not Generating Notable Relationships.

I used to create armies that fully consist of my clan's parties and rest in towns to keep getting relationship gains with the notables in the town. In my latest playthrough though, at version 1.4.3, this is no longer happening. Is it no longer a feature? Was it unintentional and got removed? Or...
  9. [e1.2.0] So, the game seems to be completely broken at the moment

And you know that they are quit easy to fix how?
The fact that modders have already fixed a lot of them. xD

Edit: Lesbosisles was not "ranting." They were giving their 2 cents. The point in us playing the EA is to test it out and give our opinion on the development updates. Isn't that the case?
  10. "Changed Skill XP increase formula to 10 + skill level"

Made the same starting character and gave him 275 of a skill using a mod before and after patch. The only difference I can see is that after the patch having a skill over your limit is more heavily penalized.

Before: skill at 275, limit 220 ---> learning rate 2.8 due to -6 penalty for skill level over learning limit (5 focus points, 8 attribute)
After: skill at 275, limit 220 ---> learning rate 0 due to -14 penalty

Other than that all learning rate and EXP requirements seem identical. It is possible that the change affects how much skill EXP actions provide based on skill lvl (i.e. how much bow skill EXP do you get from doing 100 bow dmg), I have not tested that. But I believe those should be constant, not in any way dependent on skill lvl.
Interesting. Tested it for charm gain in the tutorial. 0 -> 48 pre-update. 0 -> 52 after update. (Green zone is a mere 10)

Since I get one instance of exp big enough to make me jump to 52, that instance is technically using the multiplier when the charm was at 0 meaning it was in the green zone. Normally, the red cap would be 18 if I get small charm xp gains one at a time, not a whopping 48 or 52.

Taking what you found out and that into consideration, I think that we can conclude that the new formula gives more XP beneath the green zone and less when you go over it.

In a way, that's actually pretty damn good because you can control your stats better. Growing certain stats unintentionally past the sweet zone hinders the growth rate of the skills that matter to you. Wish the developers were more clear in their patch notes though.
  11. Make Companions Seek You Out

They already do. If you own a city they go there after being freed or escaping enemies.
  12. "Changed Skill XP increase formula to 10 + skill level"

What does that mean? Is XP gain now faster or slower? What was the old XP increase formula?
  13. Complete Guide to the Traits System: Leadership, Strong, Tough, and Berserker

Is there a way to change traits?

global "player_trait", you can update it with savegame editor.
Thanks! That helped me locate it.
  14. Complete Guide to the Traits System: Leadership, Strong, Tough, and Berserker

Is there a way to change traits? I've searched for a way to do that for a few hours now but to no avail. I didn't find anything to do with it in the tweak thread, nor was I able to find the variable that affects it in the save editor due to the lack of a search function in there. (Although I spent the time scrolling through thousands of variables and probably missed it...)

I think I'm going to leave my level 45 character and start all over again just for changing the trait... I have no idea as to why the developers had to force pick traits for you instead of allowing you to just choose between them upon reaching level 13...
