Copy and paste zlib1.dll from your steam installation. I think they forgot to include it in 1.160 download.

1.160 gave me zlib1.dll not found error. I was able to copy paste it from my steam installation.

But Napoleonic wars 1.104 does not like Warband version 1.160. It thinks it is not up to date and won't install.

Solution: install warband 1.158 -> install Napoleonic Wars 1.104 -> install warband 1.160 copy zlib1.dll from steam folder if asked.

So far I am able to join multi player, everything seems to be working.

Does this mean my serial from steam 1.160 will start working so I can activate on your download version?

I got the same issue. My serial code won't even work with version 1.158.

Did receive a reply from Taleworlds customer support today stating the current steam keys for warband are only working on steam and they are working to fix the problem.

My Warband code arrived. Now I have both codes but. I am still getting activation denied prompt.
If I try manual activation, it says I successfully activated my product but when I paste 32 letter code in
it prompts activation denied again.

You are correct. I have only one serial code "Mount & Blade: Warband - Napoleonic Wars"

Although I did order after the free play was finished the sale is on for another two hours.
I will wait for a while and contact steam support for the missing key.
