    Fief Issue

    I actually have a similar issue, if not the same. I decided to wait to control another fief, and now I cannot see a way to make it mine!

    Actually, there is a convenient way which I used today. I had to format and reinstall windows too. But MnB was on other partition. I knew that registry would be wiped out, and most programs on other partitions would not be detected as 'installed'.

    What I did was: I opened registry, found MnB keys (MnB directory plus another one that has key validation), then I exported each to a file which I put on the other partition.

    After windows reinstall, I simply double-clicked these two files and that was it. MnB works normally without having to install it again.


    Now, the problem is, if you didn't do this before formatting HDD, not much you can do I'm afraid.

    What I download automatically goes to a folder I created in the Windows drive, because I never expected this to happen and neither would have you.

    Hey there, Just formatted my windows drive and installed Windows 7 (It rocks! :)), but when I try to apply latest Warband patch it tells me that Warband is not installed on the computer and therefore must close. Both Mount&Blade and Warband are located on another drive, where I have all my games...

    and there isn't and there won't be ever. In Mount and Blade.

    Guess you are right, but that does not change the fact that it will probably require the original game of Mount&Blade to be able to play multiplayer.

    At least to my knowledge, an expansion pack requires the original game, or else it becomes an independent game.

    Congratulations, we needed that. :smile: I even remember asking if there were any plans of MP in the future for M&B. :smile:




    Hopefully those who bought the game when it was in beta are going to be invited for the closed beta of the multiplayer. :smile:

    As you can see, I am a new warrior. I have joined the Mount and Blade cause yesterday. I really love the adventure(game) and the fighting is incredible!

    I love it way too much, I'm planning on buying it!
