Thanks for all the fast bugfixes, Armagan, awesome!
Yeah, I thought something was wrong with animations. Too fast, too jerky.
Fixed issue:
When I first tried the new version, I saw that all those shiny water shaders disappeared and were replaced by that "flowing carpet" from .751 (the way the water looked like back then). I tried reinstalling with no effect. I ended up deleting the M&B folder entirely and that fixed the problem on next install. Apparently, because I had .751 still installed on my computer, .89x installed itself over it and used the old water effects. Anyway, problem solved, in case someone got the same thing.
NOT a fixed issue:
The archery/throwing targeting reticle in third person is about one foot higher than where it should be. In first person, however, it is perfectly fine. It's easy enough to see for yourself: aim an arrow or a bolt at that trainer guy in Zendar with his stupid ponytail (or the slave trader punk or someone), aim in third person carefully at the head and... he will get an accurate hit in the chest.
Didn't I already have a picture of it somewheres?
The archery/crossbow/throwing targeting reticle in 800, 801 and 802 while using third-person mode is not working; the game uses the one from first-person mode instead. Here are some pictures. I start off by aiming at something in 1st person:
Then, WITHOUT moving the mouse, I switch to third-person:
Now I am suddenly aiming higher than the middle. To demonstrate it even further, I press the ~ (tilde) to rotate the camera around.
I am still aiming at the center, just like in the 1st person view. It shouldn't be hard to fix I think. But right now it's a little annoying.
I know, I know, it's from 802, but it's still there.
BTW: does anyone know how to quote a post from another thread?
