You still have some red color from the background. Go into UV mapping mode, select the vertecies that are on the red background and realign them on the sword.

The RTW mod and Gladiator are two entirely different mods, the only thing in common is that they take place in the Roman Empire.

In Gladiator, you are a gladiator and most of the fighting is done in the arena. Rome is not in war and there are no real enemies, unless you go Spartacus.

In RTW mod, on the other hand, you are a free man, working either for the Gauls, the Romans or just yourself if you wish. You can build up an army, conquer enemy cities and eventually destroy your enemies almost completely, after which the game is just about hunting outlaws n' stuff.

If I remember correctly, two handed weapons don't do as much damage on horseback. So try fighting small parties of bandits on foot until you feel confident enough to take on enemies that should really be fought with a horse. Also, if you find your sword passing over their heads, aim the view down when you ride past. And make sure you are riding past them, not at them.

because swords are at the foremost of the list of noble weapons, maces arent even on it, well its a bit of a debate whether to put them in the list of noble weapons or practical weapons, they're not un-noble like gawdamn skimytersbut they're still not noble. soooo.... phe!!

p.s. tuna smells like fish, knights smell like untreated steel and their own sweat, your met with an unpleasant odour of a diffeent kind with knights! soooo...

Petruz, If you want to challenge your modeling skill and learn a bit at the same time, make a rubber dukky, like the bath toys, It may sound stupid, but its a good exersise, as IT forces you to explore your options, as there will be some things on it you'll think are imppossible but they arent , all you have to do is find the right finction to make it work, and for this one I beleive the cut function will be your freind
