No I mean which helmet goes fine with the full plate armor.

Favorite : KotEG. Versatile.
Least : Valkyries. Useless. Too many units just do it better.

For example if Ansen/Siggy haves 2 ppl they dislikes you need to answer 2 times i dont care and 2 times ansen/siggy have right... ( stuff like that, 2 options for one hater  ) they will leave eventualy but with some persuade skills they will last for very long time. Then you wait 2 weeks and get them again.

If they have one like and one dislike you just answer i dont care.

I never understood why some people want so many companions... Oh sure maybe for stacking the trainer skill but don't each one of them they take a huge share of the loot?

Its high armor class is indeed from being imbued by divine protection and magic. The armor is hard to get by and only used by the Doomguide (plus the player can choose to use it if the player manages to acquire it).

Previously the Doomguides wore Noldor armor which is not something they really should be using (- though they still carry Noldor bows).

This armor will stay as is, as a very rare and powerful light armor. (The doomguides are seductive troops which is why they wear this armor.)

What's your first castle's initial garrison and troop composition?

I thought I would need lots of archers, so I got lots of archers. I've got 125 guys after taking the castle. They counter attacked me with 1300. Even with my tactics at 7 I still get owned every time. I am SURE if I just have enough initial troops during the first phase of the battle I'll rain arrowy death on my foes. But alas it's like 20 guys are mine and 80 guys are theirs. I have -11 battle advantage, and no matter how many Scorpion Assassins I split with my poleaxe they just eventually overwhelm our position.

Sigh, looks like I'll need to do some more building up of troops. But the thing is, my pop cap is 130, so I really don't know how to get a better army. Waah I want to cry...

Here is a good idea. Once you form a new kingdom. Try your absolute hardest to get some lords on your side, then get them to follow you. Wait for the battle at your castle to begin, as soon as it begins ride in with your army and decimate theirs. I am with the Empire, and 2300 sarleon invaded my castle which only had a garrison of 200. I was marshal at the time and once the battle started i lead 1400 men into the castle and decimated the entire Sarleon host. After that battle their losses were too great and made peace. Plus i got 70 renoun from that single siege and it eliminated all my controversy.

Also if you want cheap garrison units that are very effective in sieges get Pendor Man-at-arms that you can recruit from villages you own, or from rescued farmers and refugees. If i ride out of my castle with a small party to hunt down bandits, i can quickly return with 30+ pendor recruits. Their top tier only costs 27 denars which is incredibly cheap for what you get. Your men defending the tops of ladders you want to treat as fodder, but don't skimp on the ranged units. I have 100 Empire Armored Crossbowmen as part of the garrison and they will rain accurate fire non stop the entire siege.

What this guy said. Pendor men at arms and archers are pretty easy to train, cheap to maintain and decently equipped. They're also easy to acquire if you took Pendor culture. Also, most bandits have refugees and farmers as prisoners so...

I recently loaded prophecy of pendor 3.5 with the editor. I did two small change to an items and got this message error in debug mode :

Question to the people knowledgeable about 3.5.

I went and used MBWB editor to change the stats on one weapon (tiny change). In particular the doom mace.

I did a change and I get this message error in debug mode :

The nexus is a gigantic website ring where you get quality mods for games such as the dragon age series, fall out 3/new vegas, skyrim/oblivion/morrowind, mounts and blade and others. Being subscribed to one means all of them. It's faster than the repository and is nearly problems free in plus of being far easier to peruse. Any serious gamer is already a member and anyone else should SERIOUSLY consider it. So I see no point in whining about it.

They probably still had quite a few injured. You should have tried to attack just to see.

In my opinion? Knights of the ebony gauntlet.

Starts range to lower their numbers and then you send them to storm the ramparts. Heavily armored and uses good weapons.

May I make a suggestion? See this as constructive criticism. I mean I sure as eck can't do any of those, least of all any coding. So I am not speaking about quality or anything. This is more about aesthetics.

But unless I am blind, are the pants/portion of waist/bracers green? If I may give my opinion, this might be my own tastes, but I find green really does not fit the rest of the suit colors. The green really... Stands out. But not in a good way. I mean according to the snake design it seems to be snake cult armor which means green would be appropriate but... I dunno. Have you tried a design where the blackish areas are of the same color as the green you're using?

But that is only moi.

Will there be businesses to invest into like usual?

And if yes, will it be more diverse than "when in doubt (or not), just get the tannery"?

Oh yeah... Those kind of quest. To be honest, unless you have a good tracker, it's very very annoying quests. I know for a fact you can stop other map units and ask them if they saw them. Although I never had anyone tell me they did see them.

About the "woman no fief" problem.

I played many female characters and they always get fief. Although I do indeed not remember ever seeing a "you got X fief" or whatever. So it's possible there isn't a confirmation message (either that or I am blind).

Go into <notes> -> <character>. Your character is always selected by default. If it says <She has no fiefs>. Then she indeed does not have a fief and her ruler is a jerk. Otherwise it will say <She is the lady of (insert fief name)>.

Don't worry TC. Some people on this board think a little too much of themselves and thus give themselves the right to be hall monitors. If they are not moderators, let them bark and just take in whatever information that people answer with. I agree with them that people not using search tools are annoying, but unless it's against the rules to ask a question twice or a million time, then whining is all they can do and you can ignore them.

As for sieges, it depends on the layout and who you are facing. Most of the time my strat is basically the same. Form lines of infantries and dismounted cavalries in front of the archers and let the archers thin out the numbers. Remember to also bring a bow/crossbow and some ammo. There is nothing wrong with helping your guys and YOU have the advantage of picking targets your archers might not always be smart enough or in position to attack. Your first priority should of course be enemy range units. Especially those flanking towers/ladders.

If your enemy has infantry that likes to throw weapons, obviously keep everyone far enough away that they won't be in throwing range. When the rain of arrows/bolts starts to wither, send your melee units to storm the rampart. Once the bottleneck is clear, have your archers move up and position them on top of the rampart (or in the courtyard depending on the castle layout) so that they can shoot the reinforcements flanks while your infantries engage them. If it means jumping down in the courtyard and telling your archers to move there, do it.  Also always keep in mind to have a plan B if the enemy manages to finish off

As for defending, as some other gentleman said, you lose the bottleneck, you more than likely lose. Yes yes, I am sure someone out there managed a fantastic recovery but nobody cares about exceptions. If you feel like the bottleneck of infantry will fall, have your archers move to the furthest possible spot where they still have visibility while YOU harass the enemy or block a narrower bottleneck.
