    SP Sci-Fi Fantasy Quail's Warhammer 40k Mod - Aspiring Modder? We could use scene props and scenes

    The two last guns look a bit.. blockish. And not even a bit. Maybe soften the edges a bit? I wouldn't like using a gun shaped like that in the game even if it was the best one in the game. I select my gear often based on looks, not stats (of course they mean something, too).

    I'm really impatient about this mod. I got 1 week free next month. I'll be trying to learn some modelling and texturing then. I'll probably never match your quality but I'm aiming for it anyway. :grin: Do you have a beta release date or is it still open?

    I don't care about the dl rates, I've learnt to wait long times to do stuff as my old comp took ages to even start, after that I still needed to log in etc...
    Host it on MBRepository. I'm not saying you shouldn't host it on any other sites. Filefront, Megaupload or something else is fine too. I'm jsut used to dling from MBRepository so There are some mods I've left untouched because they weren't on the Repository.

    Crossbows? No sense in that. If you're going to make the zombies a faction, rhodoks are going to fall pretty quickly as their crossbows are slow firing and their infantry are better against cavalry than other infantry.

    I know I'm not being of any help, but still...

    I would really like to help, but before that I would have to study mdoelling, rigging, texturing and all that I need to know to make items, and I really don't have the time for that right now with all my studies, it seems so overwhelmingly time-taking to make any items at all, so I'll just stay in the background as mental support for you guys. Kepp up with the work. I'll be looking forward to alpha/beta.

    I'm not worrying, I just wanted to point that out :razz: Plus, the troops upgrade way too easily.

    And I'm telling you not to worry now, I really like this mod so far. The fact that their faces differ from each other is great. And the moan you heaer when you encounter a band of zombies. I found another bug. It seems like you replaced sea raiders with the zombies because i get the same voice and picture, when I'm chased down by a horde of zombies, as when encountering a sea raider party in native.

    I downloaded the mod and the hotfix and added these lines to module.ini and it seems to work perfectly.
    But the fact that I could slaughter a 400+ zombie army with 4 experienced viking archers and 4 experienced viking warriors seems a bit odd. In waves, yes, but it didn't really change the fact that by wearing lamellar armor and wielding an axe (that cost around 500) makes you invincible against zombies... I tried to protect my "troops" by going berserk and charging right in the middle of the horde of 90 zombies and.. I received about 5 damage all in all and slaughtered all the xombies while my soldiers remained without a scratch. You need to power up the zombies. My "army" consists of about 40 vikings (archers and warriors) and I feel like I can beat any zombie army atm.

    It's too bad that my computer doesn't allow me to use battle size over 100. Even with this on an open plain gives me lag and fps drops to about 10. Need a new computer... I think it wouldn't still change a lot, because first time I fought an army of 400 zombies my 7-8 men got surrounded and all survived intact.

    Really, really great work with this one. When will the beta be coming out? I'm eager to test all the armor. If you need any testers I'm a volunteer. :grin: I have a lower-end computer so the graphics might be a bit of a trouble looking at the amount of tris on each of the items... but it'd be an experience.

    Well, I checked that one out and I really think that one's been made in haste. The textures and models aren't really good. Even though it's still in the beginning, I think they should've thought about it. I don't want to play even a warhammer mod if it has crappy textures. No offence.

    I really hope this wasn't not dead. I'm a big fan of warhammer and this would just fulfill my dreams. M&B with warhammer setting? Awesome. If this is truly dead, I'll be learning modding and make one of my own (no copying though) and work on it until I'm completely satisfied with it.

    Making new skeletons? Work on this mod for whatever's sake.

    Polished buildings mod [RELEASED] [Siege bug FIX + new pics pg1]

    As i try to start up the game i get an RGL error saying "get_object failed for: bo_swadia_street_short" with the patch, tried with other mod without the patch, worked fine but no significant changes in buildings. installed patch on that one and got the same RGL error. What to do?

    It's late and i can't bother to read all the posts so I'll just post this even if someone happens to have posted this same problem earlier. Thanks in advance.

    Edit: oh great, the answer was on the same page. However, do you mean the .brf files in the CommonRes folder in the .zip file? Because copying them there doesn't fix my problem.

    And also, I'd like to delete the patch, do I have any other way than to reinstall the mods, which are pretty pretty big for me to download. Also I'll be in Austria for the next 2 weeks so I cannot do any changes while I'm there.

    Answer would be great as a PM so I can find it better.

    Edit no.2: Found the answer, winrar unzipped the whole .zip folder to m&b folder. Problem solved. Never mind this post. Nothing to see here. Move along.
