i just downloaded the mod but it opens up the downloaded file, i cant seem to get it working, what am i doing wrong?

Dont know if yall already knew this but you can make time go faster but your on the map... during the map screen press and hold ctrl+Spacebar i havent seen if this works when cheat mode it not on but most likly it isnt.
