Well certainly you understand, if you're explaining things that you are experienced in to others who may not be so knowledgeable, the message is sometimes too fleeting. Some of the numbers had me a little confused, whether they were decimals or percents. Many times you say open so and so file, but you don't specify which one. Things you clearly know the answers to but not so much a rookie like me.

Many thanks to you Quintillius. Using your tutorial from start to finish, I have learned how to model texture and implement. The tutorial could use a little bit of clarification for the ignoramus within each of us. Otherwise, truly appreciated and a reference for the ages.

As to the faces, I like them but it's really not a big concern for me. I wouldn't say I prefer Native, but I really like their face generator as well.

Greetings to all fellow Persinoans. I hope everyone is having as much fun with this mod as I am. I checked this thread and realized what a disservice I would be doing if I didn't offer my assistance. I have made a map for Frisian dudes Napoleonic War a few years ago. I also modeled a simple sword by following someones tutorial, I can't seem to recall whose though. Never textured or created any scenes but certainly willing to learn. However, I speak, read, and write 4 languages, English being the best, sadly. I would be more than glad to write. Please let me know if I can help. 

Hi there. Just wanted to pop in and express my appreciation. Been a while since I picked up M&B, but this has definitely been the mod to bring me back. I'd say its up there with PoP, and that's was my flagship mod back in the day. Please keep up the great work and thanks again.

Alright, so a long time ago back in the days of PoP 2.0 I managed to find this beautiful game, and I stated my only reason for joining the forum was to thank saxondragon and the entire team for their amazing mod. Well, it's certainly been a while but I'm back with a new and improved PC, and I would like to say once again that this is, by far, the most well-developed and overhauled mod in my opinion. Thank you, one more time, saxondragon and the entire team.

Yea but how epic is it when it's untrue or when everyone goes around with misconceptions based on the fact that they watched the movie and that they are experts because they googled it.

Fair enough I only wish to point out that controlled almost every piece of asia. I mean no offense to you, at all. All I say is in response to those who act like spartans were the ultimate uber demigod fighters. For every spartan dead I would give no less than 35 persians. I am myself a great admirer of the spartan way in that they discouraged individuality and did what was best for the state. It was also run in my ideal society. I just hate the popular public opinion created after 300. I remember when i could say Thermopylae without people going crazy about the movie.

I still support the anti-cheat system. What if xendor wants his fans to play the mod to it's fullest. When I first started playing M&B I spent countless hours playing native and native expansion. Then, I left for a while and when I returned I played PoP for countless hours. since I figured out the cheat system, there aren't many mods That I will spend countless hours on. Everyone's tempted to when entering a shop ctrl+X so that they can by some uber armour.

P.S. I find it ridiculous when people complain about a mod or feature. If you dislike it that much download it then fix it, yourself. You have no right whatsoever to tell the modder what to do. He only comes to us for popular advice. This be no democracy.

^ That part was about Charlemagne. Regardless, of how you look at it, they couldn't of held out forever. There wasn't only one way into greece. The persians already had the egyptians on their side as well as all of asia and some greek city states. Counting supplies, morale and troop numbers there is no way in hell they could have survived very long. These weren't invincible gods. They bled, they tired, and they felt pain. No one contest their physical prowess but the fact remains that would have died and had it not been for the egyptian rebellion another invasion would have fostered that result. Also, what do you think was left of greece. What kind of army do you think they can call up. A max of what, forty thousand. And how many of these be skilled hoplites which could match the spartans. I am no patriot and I will admit it. I'm not at all happy with the way the goverments work and For a better life I'd ditch the U.S. in an instant. No reason to insult me though.

He only hid behind the Pyrenees. As for Phalanx. You don't have to pull the died for freedom BS. The Lived in a harsh society with little freedom except for those who could survive. Not to mention that they would have held just as high of a position in the Persian empire. And in that situation I think dying was stupid. Maybe it's just me. Also, how long do you think a group of Greeks could hold out. Flank or not, the Persians would have had them eventually.
