Thanks ! First I was having troubles with Mount and Blade, because the newest version used a newer Direct X. My computer upstairs doesn't have internet, so I have to run downstairs and use a flip drive for all my downloads. The Direct X links given on the site required the use of internet, so I couldn't download the Direct X or the newest version. Finally someone helped me, and I got both installed. I just want to add some new horses, and its been a little bit slow going, for someone who is trying to follow directions that make little or sense to her.

That is pretty much what I have been doing. Here's a picture.

I saw the drop down menu on the title screen. I have a screen shot of that too, but I'm not sure how to put it on.

I did the exsport_dir thing, and it came out as "C:/ProgramFiles/Mount&Blade/Modules/NewModule/"

Thanks again for trying to help me , but I think I may be hopeless at this point! If the pictures don't show up, I'll find another way to get them to you.

I'm following the directions from the "Part 1: Getting Stared," thing, and thats basically how I got this far.

You mean rear? I don't think you have to change any mods to do that. I never use it, but I think you just have to push ctrl+c. If this works, remember that you can't steer the horse in any specific direction while its rearing! By the way, you don't have to swear to get your questions answered.

Da, it didn't work! This October download thing doesn't do anything! I put it on my flip drive, I put it in the computer upstairs, I opened the menu for my flip drive, I double clicked on the file (it was the only thing on the drive, so I know I clicked on the right one), one of those contract things came up, so I clicked "ok." Then it asked me where I wanted to put the exstracted files, and I saved them in my documents, in a folder called Direct X. It installed all the files onto my desk top, and a little file that said Direct X something. I clicked on that file and it said: checking for updates, and it looked for like, two seconds, and then said it was finished. Then I clicked on the Mount and Blade .808 file, in my documents to install it, and the message came up about me not having the Direct X version that fit the requirements. I clicked okay, but the Mount and Blade install wizard came up anyway, so I installed it. When I clicked on the shortcut on my desktop it said: cannot find d3dx9_27.dll, please reinstall apllication. Did I do something wrong? Since I don't have internet on my computer upstairs it can't check for updates (ugh). Was I supposed to do something with the exstracted files? Please help me before I go insane! I haven't installed any mods (at all), absolutely no mods have touched my Mount and Blade version.

HI have been having the same problem. My computer downstairs is the one with the internet, and the one upstairs will probably never have internet, so I'm kind of stuck. The October version of Direct X is about half way done, so I'll install it on my computer upstairs in a few minutes. Thank you for the help.
