I remember one prank call when I was a Kid, One my friends was a Teacher's son, and at the Staff end of year party, I called up, and my friiend made sure the phone was on speakerphone. Then I, in a masculine voice, addressed the principal and asked her where she would like her dildos delivered.

I'm not too familiar with Christianity, but there are a few points i'd like to bring up...

1. Don't you go to hell if you're not baptised? Or does that only apply to certain branches of Christianity? (Baptism, Anglicanism etc) Or have these "Laws" relaxed during recent years?
"He that *believeth* and is baptized shall be saved..." (Mark 16:16).

2.God gives eternal life because Jesus Christ atoned for our sin: "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
What was our original sin? I've never been clear about that.

3. I've always had a funny suspicion that God sent his son, Jesus, to atone for our sins because he was guilty. What of? I suspect that God felt guilty because he gave us free will. With that free will, came suffering, pain, viices...all the bad things in life. Can you prove/disprove/give your opinion on my little suspicion?

Edit:  Ursca; I'm an Atheist myself, and from what i've seen and judged of the world and humanity in general, I believe that Religion comes from one of our basic human needs, the need to understand. I think it's terrifying for the human mind to think that there isn't any afterlife. Religion helps to fill in gaps that humans just cannot explain or hypothesise.
That's no longer the case, however, through advancements in physics (Discovery of the Quantum layer, X-rays, Gravity) We've been able to theorise new ways of how we came to existence. I think that's why we, as a race in general, have been losing our religious .

Mmm, it's supposed to be. It doesn't always work though. Calandale, would it be sufficient to start a new life, leaving behind everyone? E.g, move to Canada or something. Or have you gotten to that state where nothing seems to work out?

I was checking out possible colleges/universities, whatever you call them whereever you are, and I saw an interesting one in the Yukon >.<

Anyway...that night I had a strange dream where I hopped on a cloud-train all the way to Yukon, with many anonymous people (I can't recall their faces now) who seemed to be good friends of mine. It was a magical adventure, I could recognise landmarks everywhere (Even if they were oversized and mostly our od place)
Then suddenly, it hopped to a scene in the book The Moon is a Harsh Mistress (Heinlein), the one where the Warrens are being invaded by Earth-side troopers.
I woke up with my arms tensed in a boxing posiion. Strange dreams...

I've been through some bad times myself, it was a big mess of everything at the worst time.

By the way, Overdosing on Tylenol doesn't work. I woke up with a pile of vomit on me, and that's about all it did >.<

To think of it now though, i'm happy that I did wake up. Best of luck with your problems.

That's pretty goddamn ignorant.

I find the Christian values and beliefs plausible, but I just can't grasp the concept of an ethereal being who created everything, watches over us, and passes judgement when we die. That just conflicts with my reality.

I love this mod..problem though.. every time I try and play, the game just freezes randomly, and I'm forced to reboot.. If anyone can help ,please post/pm me.

I don't understand why Runescape was picked as the target for worldwide internet flaming. It seems to make people feel "accepted" into the greater internet community.

Runescape,Apart from it's community,which is the WORST i've EVER seen,(For their lack of spelling/grammar,and continous begging/flaming/scamming) Isn't actually that bad at all. It has a solid structure of combat,It has a large variety of quests,Inter-linking with one another,The graphics are decent,for a browser based 3d MMORPG, It has very regular updates,and a low monthly membership fee. I do not understand why it is picked on so much. I personally quite enjoy going on,with my group of friends and bash some dragons or something. Much more satisfactory than most games.

A little bit of thread necromancy here.. But why does everyone hate Runescape? It's almost become internet society acceptance to diss runescape,and join the Bad @ss players of the Internet. I don't get it. Personally,the 2d graphics in Maple story put me off. A lot.

2. I believe life was a pure concidence..the whole random mix of chemicals thing.
