To be frank, saying that just because the game was advertised as a multiplayer DLC makes it acceptable for the developers to release a flawed custom battle option, and that we as players and customers do not deserve a patch for the issue, or at the very least an explanation, makes no sense whatsoever. We paid for a product and one of the features included is flawed to the point it might as well be unusable. They may not have put much effort into the custom battles because they were more focused on the multiplayer aspect of the game, however since they decided to include the custom battle scenarios as part of the package they should at least be responsible for ensuring it functions as it should. In fact they are entirely responsible for the defect and they do owe it to their customers to provide some kind of fix. The DLC isn't some mod that someone with a little extra time decided to make for fun and to share with the community for their own personal feelings of satisfaction; it is an official Taleworlds product sold and advertised as such. These people aren't even really asking for much, and they have every right to press for help on this issue. Imagine you bought a DVD player and the machine also had a VCR built in. Now you still have some old movies laying around and you decide to watch one of the tapes. But when you put the tape in, you come to find out the the VCR doesn't work properly, but the DVD player does. Would you not go back to the store and demand a refund, a replacement, or repair?
