It seemed more to me like his conscience just got the better of him.  I mean, you can't really say he found god just because he killed his own gang, because they killed an innocent man.  I'd classify him as more 'evil good' rather than 'reborn'.

Anyway, been playin 1866 for about a week now, and the biggest thing that stands out to me, is the fact that the shotgun loads like the muzzle loader.  And that the people sometimes get up after being blown to hell via powder charges.

It is a muzzle loader (the double eight gauge) hence the ramrod under the barrels -PC

Aside from that, it all seems pretty good (just found the donkey today, love it)...  Don't suppose anyone has thought about making cattle to ride?  I mean, it would be more for amusement's sake than anything.  I just kind of have this image of my crazy lil bandit tossing out powder charges while riding about on a steer or something.

Gotta love it.  But it's not to really be found here.  All be it, my previous statement was more or less pointing out the obvious.  It just bothers me when someone comes in screaming about 'nubs' and cursing.  It reminds me of back in high school of how the kids loved to run their mouth.  *shrugs*

Why don't you do it yourself, then? Look, you don't ask someone to make a mod for you. You just don't. No one working on the mod said that it's dead, so it's only died when one of the modders working on it has declared so. And even if the mod has actually died you still have to ask for permission to use the content in it. Drop the ****ing chat speak and you might get somewhere too. ****ing recruits...

I noticed on one of the idea lists, it stated "less hills".  If I'm not mistaken, weren't hills and mountainous regions a notable feature of Mongolia?  I guess what I'm trying to say is, when I think of Mongolia, I think steppes, rather than all flatland.

Also, on another note.  I don't know if it's at all possible to put into combat situations, but maybe have it as a 'static' creature of sorts, but I know that the Mongols were and still are fond of falconry.  They hold a certain reverence for the eagles they hunt with.

Maybe you could fashion an eagle to perch on top of your banner during combat, and have a few in a town here and there.  I'm not sure how you could, or if it's possible to implement them, in actual combat, and I doubt it would really make sense to have them fighting.  But since they're such large part of Mongol culture, it would seem kind of wrong to leave them out completely, wouldn't it?

I hope this mod pulls through.  I finally got the Paleolithic mod to working today and have had a lot of fun.  The only thing I don't care for is it's a bit repetitive, and small.  Good luck.
