    I don't think so. The source code is a tangled mess right now.
    I've done my best to re-factor and fix its biggest problems, but if I keep adding stuff the regressions will be unmaintanable.

    Obtaining reliable and complete feedback is our biggest hurdle.
    People saying "hey dude, it crashes on the loading screen lolwtf xdddd" aren't really helping with anything meaningful, and of those we have in spades.

    i see.......sadly i'm not one for knowing how to use source codes, however i could offer help in terms of bug fixing/feedback. i could list several things (yes i will be specific :razz:) that need repair in the mod where crashes occur, or glitches etc. would you like them posted here or somewhere else?

    this is by far my favorite mod, and i would most definitely like to be able to help you guys in any way i can. i've been playing this thing since it first game out ^_^

    Question. Will some sort of extra diplomacy be added to this mod in the furture? i would love to see some sort of communication options when playing as a king trying to ally/start war against other factions etc as i've been wanting to do more with my vassals and the like...

    It's not which graphic settings will or not work, it's the amount of vram used when playing the mod taking into account all graphic settings. Just don't play at the max and you should be fine, that's a serious pc you have their. It really puts mine to shame

    good mod, not many people know about the memory restrictions put on the old exe. so download the memory usage modifer thing to unlock the exe ability to use > than 2 Gb memory on newer machines.
    Ouch that really hurts...that literally means i have no use for my 16GB of RAM whatsoever.
    kinda bums me out too, i always look out for graphical enhancement mods just so i can have everything look extra nice on this game.


    Haven't heard of that before but you may want to check it out as it seems you have more than what's needed to play M&B. Sins of a solar empire also had this problem where it doesn't use more than a few gb of ram or something like that.

    Alright let me rephrase this (And yes English is my first language):
    based off of what you were saying below in your previous post shown below in Bold text, i would assume/guess that when you referred to "The scenes in the mod are higher poly than the natives ones" you were talking about the Polygon meshes on the costumes right? poly being short for polygons? i could be wrong but this is what i was thinking when you were talking about it before. Thus my reaction saying "well if you needed to turn down the graphical settings, wouldn't it defeat the purpose of having high res polygon mesh if you can't even show them off?". If graphical settings are low In-game, than how could you tell the difference between a high res and low res poly? (when I say high/low res poly, i am referring to the number of triangles being used in texturing. example below).

    Now If you somehow weren't talking about this at all I Apologize. However, there Is no purpose (in my opinion) in having something of a higher resolution If you have to turn down the graphics just to be able to play the game :razz:

    YES it worked!!! the only problem is that everything looks pixelated now xD
    is there any way to figure out what graphical settings will and wont work with this mod? also will it be necessary to have higher poly than native? If you already have to turn down your graphical settings, wouldn't that mean that having a higher poly would be useless because you get the same/worse effect on gameplay?

    my graphics card is a Radeon HD 7750 and i have a AMD 3.1Ghz Quad-core processor. (it should be able to handle just about anything this mod can throw at it considering i play most games from 2012-2013 on med-high)

    alright, so i decided to do a little bit of testing around and here are my results:
    alpha christmas update alpha version: will not get past .INI file
    HOTD V1.2 textures with Alpha christmas update: gets RGL Error.Txt
    HOTD V1.0: stops working when it comes to load the textures.
    HOTD V1.2: stops working when trying to load textures again.
    Mixed HOTD V1.0 textures with V1.2: freeze on texture load.

    i read in the moddb website where you also have your mod up for grabs that there are some graphics issues, i play this game mostly on the highest settings, could that be a possibility?
    i feel like this mod shouldn't be giving me the trouble that it is.... ;_;

    note: this is the only mod i have ever used that acts so strangely... :sad:

Just put the mod in the modules section and do what it says in the readme, the mod should load as I have tested it and multiple others have confirmed this.

    i see, i misunderstood. i thought you still needed to use it, however it could still be modded by people etc.

    That also means that something is wrong as well. because even though it is working for other people, it does not seem to be for me. as stated before, it always freezes up when loading textures. i haven't been able to even play it yet. Maybe i'm missing some files?

    I don't recall a version where you have to change anything in the module system, I include it with the mod so you guys can make personal edits. I think you mean the brf stuff where you change some things to make some menu pics work properly. If it's that then I can't because that stuff is hardcoded.

    alright more specifically what do i do with this then? i am quite confused.....this is the first mod i've ever seen with something like this.

    i got bored so i drew a face in paint to emphasize my frustration

    also note that i am not able to start the mod at all, it immediately crashes when it tries to load textures.

    w-wow.....well it worked...however what would happen if there was another link that didn't work for a different mod? how would i know what number to use etc? would i always enter it the same way with the last "id numbers" that are at the end of the link regardless?
