    [Suggestion] New game mode

    I for one like the idea of an extended battle system; it gives an illusion of meaning to the battles. The issues I can think of though, deal with people coming and going; such as unbalanced teams, and the auto-balance function might take away from the enjoyment. As well, if teams were locked into matches, any battle that was not one sided would take a very long time to complete.

    However, I would gladly sit and watch NK clan Vs. the Hoboguild go at something like this, drink and chips in hand. Given that, maybe as a tournament mode, this would work out better.

    Indeed, some of the castles have archery (practice) ranges in them, which are obviously still active during a siege. I think shots from troops count as well, causing the confusion.

    Indeed, my bad. Yes, that would be a bug, I would be interested to find out how that happened though. However, in the meantime, consider yourself to be self-employed by contract. :wink:

    He didn't really say how long he had been playing... Honestly, I simply assume it would be a bugged contract screen. Hell, maybe if it's a contract with himself, it will cause a free money glitch (not sure where that could be collected though).

    He means mercenary contract. You know, for when someone manages to go all three months without betraying/gaining vassalage/vassalage then betraying/or getting bored and pillaging half a kingdom before inciting a rebellion... or all of the above in sequence... eventually the contract runs out and you are asked to renew. It's been a while since I have seen that screen, so I don't remember the exact wording, but I'm sure it means to renew you with your kingdom of choice. Go ahead and say yes, or light the messenger on fire, whatever sounds like more fun to you.

Anyway, seeing as none of us died a year ago when the experiments were run, this reminds me... Anyone else planning to have an end of the world party on Dec. 21, 2012? You know, sit in a lawn chair in the parking lot of the local warehouse store, watch people panic and impulse-buy a metric ton of toilet paper, while getting hammered with friends?

    Your grandfather may have taken it further than is reasonable, but it is naive to think that Obama wasn't "chosen". Real power can make and break presidencies. Presidents temporarily have power, and are still subject to serving the agenda of those who put them in office. To do otherwise is political suicide. Now, candidates may not be chosen in the way some conspiracy nuts imagine, but the highly powerful and influential figures pick their horses.

    In Vader's defense, I had a crazy old grandfather too, who hated J. Edgar Hover, and kept talking about how the FBI was spying on good honest Americans. Years later I learned about the CoIntelPro programs.

    Eh? Well, everytime I break siege and fight a quick battle the food counter resets. So I just attack. And play more, you will figure out what I mean by "the 1500 defender thing," it's actually pretty obvious in almost every town siege. Or do a forum search. Whichever.

    Indeed! Your serial key is totally unconnected with your forum status. Heck, they let me in and I am generally disliked and ignored on the forums (and rightfully so!) Please by all means apply for the beta, as new players tend to make my lack of skill look less profound.

    Blackwater was also exempt from the legal system of the interim Iraqi government. Making them effectively, a massive group of heavy troops whom were accountable to none. I try not to think about that.

    Yes, I am 100% with you on that one. What happens when a corporation is no longer completely accountable to a legal system of some kind, i.e. able to have a private army. *cough* Blackwater *cough*

    I should clarify myself, (sorry, I am tired,) I fully agree that the various world elite (political and economic) seek even greater power, that much is simple human nature. I also agree that there are specific plans such as a world wide currency sponsored by the UN, I've read about that one in a number of mainsteam papers. I also agree that often many of these things work hand in hand, such as with international trade treaties. My point of doubt occurs when people start talking about a singular source of control manipulating the whole world. It simply requires too many people, and too many resources to pull off. It is not a doubt in the sinister nature of man, it is the doubt in man's ability to pull that scale of a thing off.

    Then again... as far as whistle blowers go, did Bob Lazar work at area 51, or was he a hoaxer? I guess anyone talking about this issue would have the same questions asked about them.

    @Swadius: Who told you about the were-bunnies?  :shock: There are no were-bunnies. There never has been a were-bunny. You can prove nothing.

    Supposedly the masons are one of the "recruiting pools" that the "Illuminati" draw from, no real power of their own. This where I start rolling my eyes, Occam's razor, which is more likely; an elaborate, multimillion person conspiracy for world domination without one credible whistle blower; or a bunch of uber-wealthy wankers who just want to keep their money to themselves and are fat and happy as they are (which is already on top, mind you), and a bunch of ratings/attention whores playing on peoples fears?
