  Well....This is embaressing...Problem solved.

The map was pretty good imo, maybe more defined roads and a little more clutter I suppose (Which of course more "clutter" would probably just compromise fps) .  Everything felt strange with  so much empty space in between, but I guess I'm just used to the Valley with all its trees, bodies of water, and mountains .

I don't even want to comment about the field skirmish/war(It was just a misunderstanding).

If you add pagan shrines, then maybe a regular church? Set up some religious rp with the locations having conflicting interests.

This might be a really stupid question but how do you install this to work with other mods? Because It works fine for me on native but on mods now I still end up with untextured tree models...I've tried running the install to install to the mods directory but still no textures 

That war scene pic is epic shal! does that elephant have gigantic axeheads tied to its tusks!?!?! That really puts me in a drawing mood. Back on topic still waiting to play this thing. With each pic its looking better.

Awww bookoos. The trees look great in the screenshots except for me they just come out as white clumps of brightness.

That would be fresh! oooh if only I knew how to texture because I have soooooooooooo much freetime in the next 3 weeks...meh unless by some miracle someone taught me how to texture.
On another note, is there going to be any point to lighter armours later on like quicker movement if you wear lighter stuff?Sorta like the encumberment system in EGIII.

I'm having problems too but hopefully this hasnt been stated before. the game immediately crashes at the beginning when I run into someone who apparently is my vassal.I'm also the king of everything on Day 2 without cheats I may be completely missing something but everythings a little weirded out.

The ninja's armour is coming together really nicely but he looks very...European Is it possible to script the game to make all the faces look japanese? Because fighting in battle and killing a red haired usuegi samuria with a forked beard would just ruin the whole mood

Not to stir arguement but Ninjato(Ninja sword) more than likely existed and were used. It was crafted with much less care than a katana they came in all shapes, straight and curved but were just short blades with a long handle and scabbard for a quicker draw. It was basically a poor man's katana.

Now there are two main depictions of ninjas and I'm not arguing which is true. Stealthy farmers who didn't like being pushed around decided to attack in the night and deadly percise warriors skilled in all ways of combat. Honestly I beleive there were both just depending on how skilled the ninja was. Most times historically they weren't viewed as the latter because it was said lords would hire 100's of ninja to assassinate one man. ...but idk, were ninja used in a war setting?...

This sounds really interesting, good luck with the mod.

That would rock because I hate having to use a pole and throwing knives...the knives are alright if your character can throw but....a pole? I dont want to knock them out. I want to wound and mame them . But back on the subject of the mod are you guys changing any of the given quests like to progress the events of the time period, or just let the game run its course without being scripted. Or any quest changes at all?I personally despise being sent to give someone a message for 30 denars...Speaking of money are you guys going to change the currency to the mon right? I feel like I'm just going to end up going on with thousands of questions so im going to stop there.

I've seen a couple of paintings with musashi using his wakizashi as a offhand blade, but then again they're just paintings...
ex: but this mod takes place some 30 years before he made niten ichi ryu and nito seiho techniques were even used so its not historically accurate... I can always dream

So that blades usable for combat..Like as an a offhand sheild like thing like in Timeless Kingdoms they had offhands or as another blade maybe a shorter quicker blade like a wakizashi or kodachi. Or a Nodachi to cut up all the weaklings

ummm It should be the same unless your  using some third world decompresser that can only extract zips  anyway nice screenshots looking forward to seeing it next weekend

This mod is looking awesome, really looking forward to it and about the no-sheild idea, you could balance the matchlocks to have low damage so it isnt like HA I TEH AWEZOME GUNZ ZAMURAII SAY HI TO BOOMSTICK but so they still have enough punch to put down an armoured guy with quite a few shots, so like the guns aren't effective unless you have enough gunmen to deliver the damage from a distance. Oh and question, is the mod going to have stats rebalanced to make combat more realistic like 1-3 good swings of a sword and your down or like native where its like 2-15 Lol I actually joined this forum for a few reasons this mod being one of them. keep up the good work though
