This is so sad what such a splendid mod is dead as dead The Russian Civil war too

I was here more then a year ago and often visited this page again and did not see no any progres no even more info about this so promised project.

This was a gread mistake of the author what he switched "to help" in the Russian Civil war mod. As the result - both are dead!!

I already can not to se anymore this 0.95 version which did not changed since the Aug 25, 2009 !!!

I had the same problem, only with this mod. (I hope You loaded it and used Advansed option in congiguration menu)

Its look like You described This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way

I searched a source of this bug and found (in the post on one froum of programmers) that this is a bug of Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 in XP version of Windows

What to do?

1.You need to Install Microsoft fix for it ( but probably it will not want to be installed, because the bla bla You already have newest verson. Yep - old version this library needed)

2. I also found another solution on the same forum of programmer

You need to install:

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) - it is easy to be find because it free. Probably - this small program not exist on You PC

or install  Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64) (if You have 64 v of XP)

After I have installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2008  - this bug disappeared and now I can play MM mod

However, I must say, that I have meet such problem only on MM mod (Fine mod endeed), no in CPRG or any other mods for original M&B -  I have never met.
