    You referring to the fact I named the crossbowman Rickard? It is an actual name as well, but yeah, when I was casting around for a first name I had just been re-reading 'A Storm of Swords.' Still, I think that Rickard Black is nothing like a Stark or a Karstark (I really hate Rickard Karstark for all the trouble he caused in that book- massively disproportionate to his page time, if you ask me. Still, I hope Roose Bolton has it coming in DANCE or one of the later ones...)

    You and Martin have the same style of writing. It was the witty dialouges that gave it away. Karstark was necessary to show Robb's sense of justice; not to mention it parallels with the beginning of the series when Ned beheaded that deserter. And I hope Bolton doesn't die until the last book, he's too damn clever.

    Anyways, I just finished reading Muska's story. He's going to blow all of us out of the water once he edits it.

    This contest sounds fun, I've actually read through all the entries. They're all interesting stories. So for I'd say its between SubRosa (Robert Jordan influence?) and Damocles. I'll start my own.

    i don't think its actually technology that stops working
    i think its specifically combustion is no longer possible which pretty much makes a lot of stuff impossible to do

  10. Predictions: What will be in by 1.0 that would never be in?

    1.0 is pretty much going to have everything
    Each update they're doing now is going up only by 0.001 so by the time they get to 1.0 its gonna be out of its Beta stage.
    There is probably gonna be main quests for each faction. Also I think the mounts are going to get a big upgrade.
