Imo, Armagen should really just give the community access to game textures to be able to add/change their own, he can pick the cream of a crop, and just go with it, very fast artistic development time if that happens..

I like third person, its nice being able to see that big axe about to come down on me that is out of my peripherals in first person mode.

Yeah I thought it was strange when my army of 30 watchmen came upon the 15 or so vaegir or whatever crossbowmen only to be slaughtered by sword -and- shield.

Think about when youre riding a horse at full momentum and then swining that giant warhammer on top of it, it will knock over a man standing without losing much momentum at all, so it would definately hit more than one person if they were in the way.

Graphics don't get upgraded in expense of anything, you have a completely different programming team for the graphics! (or should)

We can get alot better lighting and shadows than we have now

Graphics programming (actual code) can do alot as well as a good artist, there are things a programmer can improve that an artist cannot, and there are things artists can deal with that programmers can't.

One of those things is sweet lighting, real shadows (not shadows I can get from the ogre engine), and sweet environmental effects, (fires and smoke and dust and whatnot)

Another thing is those skyboxes (they're soooo low resolution and completely static, not to mention theyre boxes!)

Don't get me wrong please, I'm not complaining!  I'm suggesting!  I'm pointing out what can be improved is all, just as the graphics programmers they do have know already what can be done...  As we all know graphics don't make a game but they can definately make a game more immersive!

This game has AMAZING gameplay and mechanics, the only thing that could hinder it on the world market is graphics.


I'd also like to see some kind of distortion pixel shader when you get shot with an arrow, or perhaps a dizzying effect when you get hit hard, that would rock!

Is the battle size locked in the demo?

Well if they're looking for help I have 2 years experience in C++ and 1 year in a graphics API of their choice

Anyways, it doesn't hurt to show that the community does like the idea of graphic options you can tick on and off

Bloom is a nice extra boost, but you can -ALWAYS- turn it off..

So you'll still be able to play on weaker machines!

Just look at games like counterstrike source, You can play that on terrible machines but you can pump up the graphics to look amazing!
