Good thing it's absurdly simple to figure out the priorities of the male of the species. They either want you or don't.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned were the Soviet partisans that harrassed German supply lines. Hit and run guerilla tactics that were done by civillians a lot of the time as the Germans didn't make many friends stomping through the Ukraine like they did, stealing anything they could carry. And a lot of it was food as the Ukraine was the bread basket of the Soviet Union. From what I can recall, the Ukranians welcomed the Germans as liberators.

Also, I don't think the Germans were prepared or even equiped for a winter campaign.

Here's another blunder: Singapore. All the guns were pointed out to sea and the Japanese snuck in the back way on bikes. And Singapore was meant to be impregnible.

One of my friends is a WWII nut, can't watch war films with him as he doesn't shut up.
