I think that the shields should stay there if they are to move while having the crossbow, but if they are behind the shield and they switch to a melee, they should pick the shield up.

But i guess that when the shield would get ran over, it would get closer to breaking. And the punny human behind it would get knocked back. And that would of course slow down the horse.

Also I am not sure if its been mentioned, but  would you be able to move with your crossbow, but still having the shield in the ground. I mean if you really have to get out or something, could you just leave it there?

I wanted to bring the pitchforks and torches when i saw that the thread was called mount and blade isn't that great, but i am glad i didn't, as you my dear friend just summarized everything that i have ever felt for the game.

Before i go, tell your kid not to ruin the game too much with cheats (once in a while they are cool to use).

Shouldn't there be a way to combine meat with a barrel of salt and get salted meat which will not rot?

change your config from directix 9 to directix 7 and that will do the trick. You may also want to play with shader and detail level.

Unless you become a lordless ruller, where you can own fiefs. I know that in the Gun mod you are able to convince lords to join you, but don't know if in native.

What they usually do fo me is they group and then slowly attack, but not sit there for ever...

I am restraining myself from crying. It's like a bit of me is going away. Well i am in Canada, and if the game was released at 12:00 Turkey time, then i would have had it at like 6 the day before, but it didn't... and i have to go 2 school.

I turned 16, and i've been playing M&B on and off for 3 years, since my cousin introduced me to it, and i was like WTF, no potions, but now i should really get some slee because of M&B. My 11 year old sister also plays it. She is having fun too
