It's not even really that. It's more that it looks stupid and that it's not something you'd be able to do in real life while wearing this armour, at least not as often as you can in game. Some leather wearing archer, yeah whatever; but to see some full mail wearing, long axe, spear, and sword & shield wielding guy run around jumping everywhere is stupid. Like the person I quoted, I was hoping the multiplayer would be more realistic than it is (jumping and sprinting tied to a Stamina bar which is based on your Encumbrance, for example; or actual team work - though I figure this would be different in a Clan), but it's not; I've just had to chance my expectations, though it's still annoying to see.LordHasek 说:
Agreed. That is one of the most disappointing aspects of the multiplayer in my experience. I'd love to see these people try to bunny hop while wearing all that armour in real lifeLuckyDuckly 说:
This game I decided to stay as a vassal. My last one I had my own faction, if that's what you mean by rule all.Horrux 说:
In the beginning it was because I didn't want to make it too easy. I already had a sizable chunk of money saved from before they added the businesses, and after experimenting in a few towns and seeing just how much money could be made I decided I would limit myself. Even just staying in my faction I've made over 200k since then, and now it's more of a 'who cares' reason. I have more money than I really need, so why bother increasing it at a greater rate? I'm already making 8-10k per week (depending on how the wars are going), so I don't really care about another couple thousand. Technically I could be making more and still staying within my rule, since we've (I've) conquered a lot more land since then, so there are a bunch of new towns that belong to our faction where I haven't built, but again 'meh'.Horrux 说:
The game treats you differently than other Lords, your actions don't matter as much. I conquered half the Khergits without my King declaring war or telling me to stop. I didn't even take a rep hit with my faction, just with the Khergits.Justout 说:
The save files are stored in: ....My Documents\Mount&Blade Warband Savegames\*Mod*\ so you can back them up there (copy&rename).Horrux 说:
My game has a tendency to crash also, which is why I don't play with Realistic, and make lots of different saveskiller110 说:
This I'd agree with. On horse or in the open field with an army, they're pretty easy; though I do occasionally run into that one Superman that can dehorse and kill/ko 10 of my knights before he's taken down.TheWatcher 说:
My garrisons that are unlikely to be attacked are just T2 troops. My places on the front lines are mostly T4 and T5. As long as you can hold the narrow gap of a ladder or siege tower, then T2 archers will do the same thing as T5 archers, just more slowly. So yeah, the 100-150 T2's are just there as a delay until I can run my army up there. When you do take the field you end up with more trash troops in the mix, but due to how the random troop deployment works, I'm usually guaranteed enough T5 troops from my own army to hold the ladder. The T2 garrison would die either way, but they're a lot cheaper to maintain (and easier to replace) in a castle that's not a high priority for the enemy (and so won't be attacked often or at all).chokke 说:
I generally put 3:1 Archers:Melee in my castles. Enough melee to hold the gap while the archers shoot stuff. But I generally use low tier troops to save money, since I'm a Nord by heritage (in this game) I've mostly been using Nord Footmen and Nord Huntsmen. Since I've started expanding away from my Nord villages I've been dumping in the local folk. None of my garrisons would stand up to a determined attack, but it's enough to hold out till I get there.chokke 说:
It has been updated for 1.131 recently. I just (finally) upgraded my game from 1.125 because they put out the new versionVelax 说:
If you're worried about a KO in a 1v1 with lances, aim for the horse. Your lance will hit the enemy horse before their lance will hit your body (the horse extends several feet in front of the rider). Once they're unhorsed it's not too difficult or dangerous.CriticallyAshamed 说:
Yep. Then you'll just have to deal with the troops already in the castles. It makes the last fight a lot easier though, instead of having all the Lords stuffed into a single castle/town, you'll just have a few.munchiepoo 说:

That's not accurate. Your village CAN become infested with bandits, but they're not the ones patrolling the map, it's a scripted event (on a timer, every x amount of days the game checks a roll, if you lose the roll you get bandits... or something like that). As far as patrolling bandits, they will never attack/loot a town/castle/village, unless you have a mod that gives them that ability.onarum 说:
That guy is elusive. He was the last NPC I recruited into my party and he took forever to find.dormammu 说:
