I don't want to sound rude but... You know that the point of an Early Access is for developers to receive feedbacks from players and improve the game according to the feedbacks ?
They released the game before it was finished because they need feedback from us, also I've never said in my post anything about the mechanics that we know are going to be in the final release. When I'm asking "why X mechanic isn't in the game", it's because the dev never talked about including it in the future (so I'm just remembering them that it would be cool if they added this mechanic to the game).
If we want the final release to be even better, all of us need to criticize the content of the Early Access (in a constructive way that allow them to improve it, not insulting them of making a childish tantrum, devs should just ignore these ones) and help the devs.
I mean this is all well and good but the game is early access. They released it before it was finished so that we could play it...If this was the final product lists like this would make sense but saying "you did not include this thing that you said you would" at this point is just wasted words. Just wait for updates and a lot of this will probably be resolved.
Less excellent but still okay I suppose... One of these days somebody besides Axe is going to turn their chapter in on time... So far he and Pandabomber are the only ones who've managed it and I gave Panda way too much time - cause I suck at math.
Sorry guys, you have to skip me, I moved bases and all the plugs are foreign. Don't have an adapter for my three pronged plug. I'll let you all know when I am available to play again. Sorry.
Posting this now since my time will be up while I'm sleeping. (Sorry guys, not waking up early to post it. I need my beauty sleep )
Chapter 6: Day 81-94
I woke up in some danky tavern in some city I don't even recognize. Two things crossed
my mind. 1. Where the hell am I and why don't I remember anything? and 2. Where are my
clothes? I guess that is really three things but I felt that the first two kinda went
well together so I counted that as one. For some weird reason undaunted by the later
question I headed downstairs to find out where I was. It turns out, I was in the town
of Javiksholm. I talked to the Barkeeper Alfred to find out if there were any jobs in
the area for a woman like myself. It turns out there were lots, but I decided to head
to the town of Valonbray to talk to some man named Jorn the Axe about a bandit problem
he was having.
As I left the tavern the whole room got up and followed me out the door.
as I walked into the street I turned around and asked two questions. 1. "Who are you
all and why are you following me?" and 2. "Why are you staring at my ass?" Yes, I know
that is three questions but again, the first two go well together. I'm not going to
explain myself every time that happens...They all gave me weird looks and one of them
replied "You hired us to work for you..." ... I have no recollection of this...Why can
I not remember anything? Bewildered I walked off and hoped they were all going to go
away. They didn't but I never said anything further on the matter.
The trip to Valonbray was rather uneventful, although we were followed the whole way by
a group of Knights of the Dawn...Luckily we somehow ran faster on foot than they could
on their horses. Not exactly sure how that's possible but I'm not going to complain. I
finally found Jorn the Axe and took a job to kill a Jatu raiding party.
I'm honestly not sure why a Jatu raiding party was all the way over by Valonbray but I didn't argue
with the man. I took the job. Walking around Valonbray looking for these evasive Jatu
raiders, those knights I talked about earlier caught up to us. When all was said and
done I don't remember much of the actual battle, we won...But I was knocked out within
the first two minutes of fighting.
I gave up on trying to find these damned Jatu and decided to head to new territory. I
was tired of the cold so I decided to head down south to the desert. On the way down
we were attacked by a group of treasure seekers...I think it might have something to do
with the 8 or 9 treasure chests I have in my possession but honestly its hard to say.
Again, what happened during the battle may be a bit hazy to me...Can't exactly say why
but my men obviously did a great job because we won again. Which is a good thing
because it would have been a shame if those treasure hunters had gotten a hold of my
booty...get your mind out of the gutter...Turns out my men grabbed a couple of fine
lances off their bodies, which was a good idea, I think they will fetch a pretty penny.
We were pretty beat up so I headed to the nearest town, being Singal.
We rested in Singal for a few days until we were all healthy and then I headed to the
tavern to see if I could bolster my forces with some new men. I hired some Barclay
Heavy Footmen and a man that calls himself Ediz.
Then once again headed out into the
world. I headed back toward Javiksholm and stopped by the armor shop. I bought myself a
cute straw sun hat. Not entirely sure why they have a straw hat in an armor shop, but
it was a good price so I just couldn't turn it down. I found more Barclay Heavy Footmen
for hire in the Javiksholm tavern and offered them a job, to which they gladly accepted.
We headed north to windholm and when we arrived I naturally headed to the tavern. Finding
nothing of interest, we left.
We headed back down south to Valonbray. I decided I was tired of eating cabbage so I
stopped by the marketplace and bought a large assortment of new foods. Emboldened by my
new food variety I decided to launch an attack on a Vanskerry Settlement. The attack was
going well until a lucky throw of a Jarid hit me in the face and knocked me unconscious.
When I came around 2 things crossed my mind. 1. How am I still alive and how long was I
out? and 2. Let's go kill those son's of guns that did this to me! Don't even say it...
Sadly though, by the time we got back to where they were hiding, they had already upped
and left.
I headed back to Javiksholm where I took a job to kill more bandits, as I left the town
I couldn't help but hope that these bandits would be easier to find than the damn Jatu.
Sure enough we found the bandits right outside of town. There were 44 of them, I loved
our odds. Of course we easily annihilated all 44 of the bandits...and when I say "we" I
mean my men...I don't really remember much of the battle.
I returned to Javiksholm and he gave me a measly 110 denars for our trouble. Our contract was up with the king of the Fierdsvain...Although...I don't really remember signing any contract, but then again I don't remember much of anything lately. I decided to renew the contract anyway. I then headed to the tavern to get some shut eye.
NOTE: We now have an unfinished quest to find those stupid ass Jatu...I have a feeling they went back to where they are supposed to be...no clue why I got a quest for this in Valonbray but I assumed they would be near by...
So you refer to a grand total of two things as "an excess of"? I think you need to expand your vocabulary so you have words that better fit your intended statements.
This is the hardest game I have ever played...I also have been going hard core and not quitting without saving...luckily we (and I got a bunch more) have a bunch of Barclay Heavy Footmen so when I get hit in the face with a gravity hammer and have to watch the rest of the battle we still usually end up victorious...
