so, awnsering to the question put about the scorpion style,

first of all, the video you put, its only a presentation.
but, the idea of the scorpion style is to impress the enemy.
you move fast, stay low and use your feet's to hit the upper part of the opponents body, and the fists to fit from the stomach to below.

the punch of the scorpion is one of the most deadly punches of all the kung fu styles, you make a sort of arrow with your fist, and strike right into the stomach or the sides, below the ribs. (man, that hurts, I've experienced it myself :/)

anyway, I've praticed capoeira, kung fu styles of: choy lay fut (dark blue), scorpion (black belt) and mantis style (just started ^^), also Muay Thai (light blue with dark blue edge, the sixth kruang).

I can say that it is a great mix of martial arts, for the capoeira is malicious against the enemy, he never knows what to expect from you. kung fu is fast, and give you the vision of the fight, so you know what you can and what you cannot do. the Muai Thai is great for close combat, so, mixing the 3 fights, you have almost a complete fighter, the only part missing, mainly, its the ground fight, that capoeira is good at it, and also Muay Thai, but I believe that the best would be to pratice also Brazilian jiu jitsu.

but my best fight is the kung fu, I've been doing it since I was 8

getting back to Brazil, for I don't know much about this subject in other nations,

everytime someone complains about the money our government spends on this and that, that the money could be spent in health and education, this person is kinda wrong, because we have a lot of money to spend in that even spending in other stuff like millitar development.
the issue is that the government wont do it.

you know why the governments all over the world dont try to stop the hunger and to help for real the poor? because it would end the way of life that the rich peaple in the command have.

no more poor peaple, no more exploration, no more agro business, no more builders for the citys, no more cleaners in schools and malls, even in the houses, no more any kind of terrible work, that only poor peaple who needs money acept to do. got it? its the capitalism guys, all about the big machine.it needs the Iron, and the dirty oil to work

guys, I live in Brazil.
here, the poorest population have normaly around 5 and 8 children, but the richest, have normaly 2 or 3. (thats my case..)

I didn't tried to say that poor peaple has many kids because they easly die, even tho that can be a reason in some cases, its not the case most seen here.
I did an school work, and my group asked a woman in a favela about the reason she had so many kids (9), and she said:
(translated, of course, lol)
"Its bacause of the money right? We all need workers in the family" she meant "more sons, more workers. More workers, more funds. More funds, better way of life."

so, of course, the surviving factor used to be a real reason, in the middle ages, or maybe in Africa (I don't know much about their situation, but from what I've heard, its possible.), but its not the main reason for the population extreme growth.

in Europe, such things dont happen, there are first world nations that incentivate the population to have children, like Australia, and also, Russia, for their population is falling tru time (freezing to death maybe? ^^). and it has nothing to do with population growth, for it realy does not compare with the much peaple getting born in the poorest areas of the world, and the favelas here in Brazil are included.

the main cause of the extraordinary population growth is that the poor peaple needs to have more children that will gain money.

so to fix the huge number of peaple, we must fix the financial problems that afect that population. And capitalism won't allow us to do that.
