  1. Woman clothing bug.

I forced Borscha to wear a dress for a few days as punishment for being really incompetent in a few battles.

    Ooh, the power...
  2. Ignore This One Too

I had the same problem last night when talking to the trainer in Zendar - a large gap in the text in his very first speech.
  3. Capture the nobleman quest error...

I guess you'll just have to tell your men to hold position as soon as the battle begins and race like hell against any of your knights that don't feel like obeying you, so you can knock him out before they get to him.

I find that if you tell them to hold position a couple of times at the beginning this usually prevents anyone from getting a head start on you.

    Hi brulleks,
Buttons being blanked out is probably because you have reached the limit for party members.

I'm afraid I don't think this was the case.

I was on the party map and had just completed a battle. I opened up the party screen as I had been told that some members were ready to upgrade, but the button was blanked out even for those men that were ready to upgrade.

I closed the screen and opened it again, but the same thing occurred.

I then travelled to a nearby town and, without having changed my character stats or party members at all since the battle, I tried again and was allowed to upgrade them without a problem. I do not know if there was something else that may have been affecting my limit though.

I will let you know if it happens again. I have played for a few hours since then without the problem re-occurring, though, so hopefully it was a one-off.

Just press spacebar and keep it pressed

    Ah, cheers.

As for which forum this should be on, I was going by this message on the 'Read me first!' doc:

"Players can submit bug reports, comments and suggestions at this forum."

So, apologies if it's in the wrong place.
  6. Suggestions - hopefully new ones!

I've been playing Mount and Blade for the majority of the weekend (haven't tired of it at all), and have noted down some suggestions that I hope will be useful. I don't know if any have already been made as I haven't read all the other threads, so apologies if this is the case. Party...
  7. Capture the nobleman quest error...

I had a similar problem. The quest log said that the nobleman would leave a particular city in two day's time, so I headed over and waited somewhere in between the two cities, hanging out at a tavern until the time came when he was due to leave.

Then, as I was about to set out to intercept him, I got a message saying he had already arrived.

I think it's just a typo in the quest log - it should say he will arrive at his destination in two days. The next time I got a quest like this I assumed that he would be leaving immediately and managed to catch up with him.
  8. General praise and M&B update formats

Yeah, it's possible - but not likely.

I'd have to square it with my partner first, for a start!
  9. Horses

I agree with the original post wholeheartedly.

I lost my horse in a battle last night and, to my delight, managed to re-enter the battle and mount another one.

I was distraught afterwards when I discovered I would still have to walk everywhere.

All events within a battle should have direct consequences within the rest of the game - they shouldn't feel like just another arena battle.
  10. General praise and M&B update formats

Just discovered and purchased this little gem, and am playing my way through in order to come up with any useful suggestions (and of course because it's ridiculously addictive and entertaining). It's good to see that new experiences can still be had in PC games, what with the general cynicism...
