I'm resurrecting this super old account to also complain about this. I don't know if being a very early supporter and active community member adds clout to the request, but dear lord fix this.
Another release coming out in a couple days, and now nightly builds are available on their website. There are normally dozens of updates daily, and the development is going crazy. Hands down the best survival roguelike, and one of the best survival games I've ever played.
Want to burn shut a bite wound so it doesn't get infected? Build an end-of-the-world zombie crushing from looted materials? Lure a horde of zombies into a church with the bell then burn it to the ground with them inside? Play this ****, its crazy.
Oh, and you can resize the damn screen now, so huge screen.

1) I don't necessarily disagree with this
2) Honor, already in game
3) You can court your companions
4) You can collect loot from fallen enemies during combat. What you can keep after combat is the undamaged and unbroken equipment.
5) They already do. Look at soak values in the ini
6) There already are, based on city/culture
7) Eh, that doesn't really work with troop numbers as they stand, but I don't really disagree I could care less about npc names.
A swing will be faster than hand speed because of a) force of gravity assisting and b) the leverage/torque applied either with the wrist, or between two hands on a two handed weapon. A thrust, however, is directly tied to how fast you can push your arm forward. A swing is also generally more incapacitating because it severs muscle and connective tissue in a big way, preventing the muscle group from being used. A thrust causes less damage and less wound void.
Additionally, not all punches are "thrusts" an uppercut or a hook, for example, are not thrusting motions. They are still limited by hand speed however, unlike using the leverage of a sword.
This diagram explains how the velocity at the tip of a swinging blade is much faster than the velocity at the base.
You don't bring them with you constructed. Either you move the parts packed up in a wagon train, or you build them on-site.
Also, these ideas have been posted over and over. Pick the most recent and reply to it. And if you're going to start a thread its good form to use a subject that somewhat explains your post. "an idea for the game" in the idea board is hardly descriptive.
So did the existing threads. You could have elaborated on it in an existing thread, and done less to clutter the search for co-op campaigns so others would find the threads easier and not have to start their own threads about the same thing.
And does that mean you didn't actually search? Either you're a liar, or you're stupid.
A castle is a place of commerce as well as a place of war. Additionally, you're playing the part of a mercenary in a war-torn land. Why wouldn't they want to talk to you, and hire your band?
