    I had this issue. Replacing the Sukoroku 3.1.12 menus.txt with the one from Gekokujo 3.1 will fix it. I have found a few more script errors but they are rare.

    Have you tried this item editor? It's worked on mods that Morgh's wasn't compatible with.

    All of those changes can be made without using the source files, in any case. Sorry I don't remember them on sight.

    Thank you all for the detailed responses. It seems my timeline on the rise of firearms in Japan was off by 20 years or so. I thought it wasn't until Nagashino that they truly caught on, and then employed heavily to the advantage of Hideyoshi and Tokugawa in the 1580s-1590s. It's really quite incredible that they were adapted so quickly, to the point they had phased out centuries-old military tradition in the span of only a few decades.

    After camping outside of Isengard for weeks on end the Guard Legion finally spawned.

    Is the AI ever going to do anything about it, or am I supposed to tackle this single-handedly as well? (Or spend another 8 weeks grinding the Influence needed to get the AI to do what it's supposed to do in the first place)

  11. What is the baseprice?

    Is there a delay period before surplus and shortage appears? I'm getting really turned off of Merchant characters because I can't find any supply or demand. No one has any. Even using Asses Prices with 8 Trade the highest I can find is 20 denars on items I could buy at most 2-3 of.
  12. Crossbowmen

    There's definitely an issue here. I would venture a guess that it has to do when firing from higher elevation.

    In that first thread you linked I had the exact same scenario, one Khergit Archer sat under 40+ A4 Crossbow fire for a full minute, and all the bolts sailed over his head. They were on a hill a bit higher than he was.

    But where this seems especially serious is sieges. I'm noticing that archers on walls can't hit ANYTHING. No matter who is defending or who is attacking, the kill ratio is at least 5:1 (usually 10:1) in favor of the attackers just sitting in the open.

    I suspect that firing at the wall alleviates the elevation problem (firing over the enemies head) while firing down from the wall exacerbates it (literally NOTHING hits).

    This is a serious issue I haven't noticed in vanilla.

  14. Useful tips to players

    Like Ducimus, I have to question the "strategies" people seem to be using. I get no option to send Velvet or Spice by Caravan, ever. Even if it's the most prominent good in the city, I get the option to send a Beef caravan when there's only one Beef, but can't send Spice when there's 11 Spice.

    I was making more money by buying and selling Velvet and Spice myself, looks like I just wasted 45k on a Trade Permit. Man this game is frustrating.
  15. Line Battle, May 13th @ 8:30pm EST (North American server).

    That was a lot of fun. Thanks to 5arge and Gooner, and the Pubgoons were an inspiration to us all.

    Favourite moment was probably having our unit slaughtered in a crossfire only to charge into the french ranks and personally take out 6 in the chaos :smile:
  16. F&S Bugs Thus far

    I get no experience, money, or loot if I defeat enemies who retreated to their camp. Since it seems almost every enemy I chase down retreats to their camp, this is a huge bug. Makes this game literally merchant caravan simulator 2011, as it's the only way to make money.

    Can I use tweakMB after I install this to change the cattle behavior and the governing stat for some skills?

    I ask because I just tried, and I'm not getting any experience, money, or loot after defeating enemies. The loot screen never pops up, although I do hear the tinkling of coins.

    Maybe I installed wrong or maybe I can't use tweakMB, just checking.

    Am I missing something? Is the download link in the first post not updated, or not stand alone?

    I get ctd's whenever the game should bring up the city/castle/village menu, i.e. any time I enter a city/castle/village after the first one where you're ambushed by a bandit.
