    What if the number of troops you brought into a bandit hideout was based on the players scoundrel skill level? For example at level 10 you may only be able to bring 2-5 units.     I am not sure if I am missing something. But when I queue for Captain, Skirmish and Siege at the same time it is never clear which game mode I got into. A banner at the top or on the side that said "Skirmish" would be very helpful. A minimal overview of the map that is currently being played...

  4. Game breaking faction/kingdom snowballing balance problem

    I think that this is partly due to how NPCs spawn in with (or quickly and freely acquire) a comparatively large number of pre-trained troops. This causes there to be little to no cost to loosing armies.


    A more fun change to fix this would be clans breaking off into their own kingdoms once they become powerful enough. Or banding together to split off if the ruling clan just takes all of the fiefs (im talking about you Urkhunati)
  5. Creating a party from your companion gives you free troops.

    If it makes you feel better the NPCs also abuse this when they spawn in, but they spawn in with parties larger than 20.?

    I agree this is an issue.
    I focused on trade instead of joining a kingdom and once I reached clan tier 4 I decided that me and my clans men/women can take at least one castle since our combined parties cost 1300 per day. Not the case, only kingdoms can work together.

    If the developers want to keep the 'army' feature to kingdoms, then at least allow party leaders to be given instructions like attack this place or something.

    I noticed this yesterday as well in e1.0.5 with the western empire.

    I think that a good solution to this would be the npc spawns back in with an army composition based on the combined prosperity of their clans holdings (clans without holdings get a fraction of this from kingdom holdings). When the new army is spawned in, the prosperity of the holdings should decrease based on what was spawned in.
