  1. Several perks not working properly

These were reworked into something different months ago.
yeah it seems my game was behind, thanks to some replies on the forum I have figured out how to update my game (have to manually set the version) so I guess I'll soon learn what was done with them.
  2. Rough Tied Bracers are too good

I'm pretty sure, based on his other threads, that he is playing on a version of the game from several months ago. Back then they had ~30 armor.
it seems that for some reason my game is on version e1.4.3 rather than the latest patch. This despite the fact I have it set to auto update. I looked into the matter and it seems you have to manually change the version you are playing on. Thanks to you guys for helping me figure out I was behind patch wise, guess I've got alot of changes to catch up on.
  3. Rough Tied Bracers are too good

I'm pretty sure, based on his other threads, that he is playing on a version of the game from several months ago. Back then they had ~30 armor.
I wondered if I might somehow be behind patch wise but I would think it updates automatically. I'll try updating my game. If this ends up being the issue then thanks for letting me know.
  4. Several perks not working properly

I'm assuming this is because they just haven't been properly implemented yet but some of these do need to be addressed as I would argue they would affect gameplay in a major way. The two main examples I will bring up right now are the perk for fire siege weapons in the engineering tree and the...
  5. Sturgia needs a buff badly

Every campaign I play, Sturgia gets steamrolled. It's so bad that by the time you get the banner and are ready to pick a side you are lucky if they have more than 2 cities left. They suffer from a lackluster unit lineup and it really shows. In particular they get overrun by the Khuzaits...
  6. Rough Tied Bracers are too good

As the title suggests I am posting this to draw attention to an admittedly minor issue, but one that irks me all the same. Rough Tied bracers are *way* too good. It's to the point where it's actually hard to find upgrades, playing Imperial I have to get full lamellar plate gauntlets to beat...
  7. Need More Info Error creating granite GPU cache

I found a solution on Steam but it's a pain in the but. Gotta do a reinstall. This fixed the problem for me, though while redownloading the game there was a little bit of trouble. Still, it did work.
  8. Need More Info Error creating granite GPU cache

i'm having the same problem right now. It started yesterday when the game encountered some sort of error during a battle and crashed. Now I can't start the game or verify the local files. On top of that when I try to start it up, despite crashing, it still registers in steam as the game still running and the only way I have found to stop it is closing Steam. This issue started yesterday for me.
  9. The Javelin hustle

oh i'm absolutely using my companions. This is good training for them too. I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing that javelins can be sold like this but I would argue it's worth bringing the price down just a bit, though considering these are better than alot of javelins being sold maybe that's not really practical or fair. In any case the right thing to do would just be to bump up the value on certain crafted equipment to make it more viable to experiment.

Javelins really are stupidly expensive and lucrative compared to one handed swords and this doesn't make sense to me from a practical perspective since the most valuable resource historically would be metal so things like swords should be WAY more valuable than a set of throwing spear. Especially when they look so shoddy, it's literally a short pike head on a pine tree branch. I added a decorative brace later to add value but that still only brings it to 2 units of metal I believe.

Of course in bannerlord the most valuable smithing resource isn't metal but hardwood so that's probably contributing to the weird prices.

Edit: I would also like if my own crafted gear would stop appearing as tournament rewards. It's an interesting feature but I can literally make it myself so it's not much of a reward.
  10. inventory gear bug?

so this is really 2 issues. One is something that just annoys me for aesthetic reasons. Rough tied bracers are too good. I feel like it doesn't make sense for them to have an armor value of 30 when actual chain mail mittens only get like 23-25. They look like trash and the name implies they...
  11. Resolved Bandits after surrendering screen freezes and continue option doesn't work - 1.4.3 Beta

Had similar issue, looters wanted to join me, i accept, take some, but not all, because of max party, when i press continue, non of the conversation options were working, game was running, but clicking a conversation option did nothing.

ah a fellow wheel of time fan.
  12. Financial income

That's basically cheating, I am not going to tell someone that, it will ruin the game for them.
as opposed to scrambling around like a madman looking for ways to make money to pay your army despite you having 6 workshops and a castle, struggling to keep your head above water? most of the quests give lousy payouts with a few exceptions, so the game is actually harder to enjoy if you can't secure a suitable stream of income. Workshops are still very hit and miss and from my understanding caravans are even worse. it's very easy for new players to fall into a trap where they get a 100+ army then have to spend every moment of the game trying to feed and pay them. I've merely provided an option that alleviates this issue without using any exploit. If you think it breaks the game I can somewhat agree with you, javelins are ridiculously profitable, but they also cost way too much to buy considering what they are. The obvious solution is to make selling swords more profitable but it's really not worth it at lower smithing levels despite the fact that swords should objectively be far more lucrative than a bunch of shoddy throwing spears.

Now something that IS buggy and exploitable, but also profitable, is giving axes to gangs. For some reason that quest never actually takes your axes away when you say you have them, it just hands you alot of money (very profitable quests if you can find them) and you keep the axes. So you can basically just lug around 30 hatchets and look for this quest in major cities, take it, immediately cash it in, keep the hatchets, then go looking for another one of those quests
  13. Financial income

Make some swords and sell them.
nope, make Javelins and sell them, infinite money
  14. The Javelin hustle

Figured i'd post this here for those interested in a get rich quick scheme. So I like smithing (it does take ages to level up and the stamina is irritating but the system is great) but very few of the things you craft early on sell for enough to be worth the trouble. With ONE exception so far...
  15. Resolved Bandits after surrendering screen freezes and continue option doesn't work - 1.4.3 Beta

I even tried simply telling them they must pay for their crimes, assuming that is the option to simply attack them but they STILL end up surrendering and screwing me. This makes the game semi unplayable and needs to be solved fast.
  16. Resolved game crashes in practice fights

So I recently started using the beta patch to get around the rather irksome bug of enemy garrisons immediately joining my team during sieges and instantly giving me the win. I am not sure if this has to do with the beta patch or if it's the result of the main release patch but simply put, when...
  17. Resolved Siege - enemy army joins your side from the start, immediate victory

same problem, it seems to be consistent too. Another thing I will note is I attempted to autoresolve it and see if it worked alright then. Nope, the enemy still showed up on my side and indeed there was no enemy whatsoever. Gonna try the beta patch.

UPDATE: yep, the above beta patch fixed the issue. Though I am somewhat puzzled by the beta batch options, why isn't there an option to just take the newest? the menu in steam wants you to manually select one it seems.
