Yes, Gibby has been playing NW for months and isnt considered high tier, same with me. The Native skill translates when it comes to core mechanics and switching but once you know that you'll still get punished by any decent NW player. I think people forget that even though it's only two directions, the amount of moves and meta there is on that module far exceeds that of the Native module. In Native module people just rely on basic spam in battle; in NW however, you have to use your own way of fighting to counter the opponent and use mechanics like chambers way more often then that of Native. Native players can block and feint, but cant really do much more on NW at the start. There's actually far more styles in NW than that of Native. If I never really played NW before I'd also be naive in saying how good Native players are, though I do believe they're extremely underestimated. No module is superior as they're completely different. It's like comparing The Witcher to Red dead, both open world RPG, but that's the only similarities.

NW can block two directions just as good as Native players (which is the only real individual skill that translates to NW) but the abuse of the mechanics and the unique styles and constant chambering would ultimately destroy any native player.

Native battle is obviously far more complex and tactical (so much so that theres no comparison) though and that's why theres two big styles, a battle style and a duelling style.

We just had a talk with the admins in order to sort things out, because there were some things that needed to be said.

I havent really been in touch with whats going on in warband in the past weeks and wasnt playing in the scrim against Malta where this ****show started. All I knew was what my teammates told me: 2 of our guys got banned for a match for making an inappropriate joke. I didnt know exactly what was written. When I saw that another player only got warned after writing something racist in an official match, I felt like we were being done wrong. I felt like we were being treated unfairly because the admin team doesnt like us/thinks we are just a bunch of nazis because of some things that happened in the past. So I wrote that comment and requested the name change to Adolf (we all know which Adolf was meant) in order to provoke them, which was just dumb.

As it turns out though, I was wrong. After having spoken to the admin team, we came to realise, that this wasnt some sort of personal attack on us, it was just the admin team doing its job in trying to prevent people from having to deal with this offensive and inappropriate behaviour. All we wrote was meant as a joke, but u cant expect people to know that or share the same kind of dark humor, we get that. Most people arent as spoilt as us to find jokes about such events which clearly impacted history in many terrible ways funny.

That doesnt mean that what we did wasnt wrong. We (Spada, Gaius and me) want to apologise for what we did to the entire community. No one should have to read this kind of stuff.
We would also like to apologise to the admin team personally for causing all this unnecessary drama, which could have been easily avoided, which is what we will try to do in this tournament and future tournaments.

I dont expect to be unpunished and hope that everyone understands that this was all just meant as a joke. We dont actually share this kind of ideology. At the end, we just want to play the game and have fun!

From what I understand, be it with you or other groups of people you may be a part of, there has been some issues in the past with similar stuffs which may or may not justify Charli and other admins of the team being a bit tired with all that no-sense. I am not necessarily aware of all the details, I have always enjoyed watching A Q play and I very rarely heard about a problem with your team but I don't know everything, far from it.

This is also one of reason why I would have preferred if you added me on steam and we discussed that privately. I didn't want to restrict your capacity to post (you or anyone else) as I felt it would have been an actual abuse of power, but from experience forums war very rarely result into a positive outcome for both parties.

Still happy to discuss this further on steam even though it might be a bit late to change anything about the current punishment. I would leave it at that forum wise, concerning the current issue, as enough bad has resulted out of this.

Nah man, all good. This just opened my eyes on some things. Feels like I already invested too much energy on this. No point in staying in an environment in which u are clearly not wanted. Thx for being the one that wants to hear both sides though, appreciated.
