They recruit troops for your castle once in a while, so it's very useful to always have one in a castle if possible, I mean, do you really think Warband's lazy-ass lords would work so much to the point of saving up to 200 troops for a castle? No mate, no

That helps, but it's still a huge pain in the ass to hunt down small and therefore fast parties across the map!

And the worst part is, when I took their last castle, I automatically excepted one of their lords! I don't want any stinking lords...

I mean, if Bloodletter and Chaos warrior can use the same skin, surely so can orcs and humans

It has been discussed in the past and it's doable since you already have that as Chaos, but the problem is you'd have to create another race for bigger Orcs, which is a problem with the 16 skins limit of Warband. Also it would require a lot of models and I don't know if the mod team has what they need in this regard at the moment

Maybe this can be worked around by making the high-end Orc armours super bulky, to make them seem bigger? And maybe we can do something with the bloodletter skin, that seems bigger than human, too.

I used to shoot my own soldiers during sieges to get their ammo. But after a while I just increased ammo amounts.

Well, they are not that great
- works like "low damage" shotgun with more rounds which is not very accurate and can cause collateral damage when you use it
- shooting is soooo slow that you have to track moving targets after pressing the fire (shot occurs after a delay)
- range seems to be limited (at least for AI) - I gave one to my companion and he just  stood there until enemy got close and then switched to his sword

btw: a minor bug - they produce grey smoke not green as for other Skaven weapons

I prefer using combo of two Warplock pistols + balanced Warplock spear which is way more effective than gatling gun at the moment...

What's the point of bringing two pistols ?

Depends on how you are playing. It makes perfect sense to have two pistols so you can fire rapidly without reloading before switching to your main weapon, which could be a melee weapon or one with very fast reloading. In early game I usually carry one or two long barrelled or cavalry pistols and a witch hunter pistol (fastest reload of empire firearms), fire my pistols once and then stick to the witch hunter once I'm up close... at the moment I stick to sure shot and shotgun though, that is pretty much perfect. Rifles are pretty much useless for players anyway, as you cannot sustain ranged combat on foot unless you vastly outnumber the enemy.
