No idea what features ASoIaF has. Haven't played it, but you know, Pennies are only used for the money display in the inventory. NPCs will still say things like "I'll give you 4 Dollar, if you deliver that message" or similar. You just get 400 Pennies instead.

They could be a source for exotic weapons and stuff. - I mean, having the famous 1866 Chassepot rifle would be awesome!
