That's the one that I follow but I keep getting different errors everytime. Gonna try again, this time I'm gonna do only six factions first. If it works then gonna try adding the rest of the factions and the invading ones.

Ahhhhh! Floris ModSys is so frustrating! I keep getting errors even though I already redid everything back from the start several times already.

Can someone point me to a decent tutorial on modding Floris involving mostly in additional factions, cultures, lords, and settlements. And maybe the implementation of Tocan's invasion script to Floris.

I meant using the "Split into connected sub-meshes" option under the "Selected" option. Then I just rotated or rescaled them accordingly.

With so many wishing for my recovery, miraculously my Chickenpox have stopped multiplying and are now "dying". Wow! Wishes do come true.

I didn't model anything though, I just used models from OSPs. I broke them to several parts and rearranged them to my desire or in this case over another model. And I did that all using OpenBrf.

With the end of major exams, my only problem was the activities and reports. But after a week and a half of work culminating in the deadlines last Monday, I was this close to finishing it all and losing all those problems. Then s*** happens , I got infected with Chickenpox. I was not allowed to stay in school because the School Doctor did not want to risk the Pox from spreading. I was not able to do my report and finish my network which only needed a single link to function . Worst thing is the blisters are appearing on my face, head and lower extremities more than my body. Good thing about this is I am able to stay in my room and do some work with my mod.

Oh! I see, my view of low and high fantasy is rather skewed because of some fantasy settings being placed in the genre of low fantasy because of the lack of presence of magic. That clears things up for me.

I was shocked also when I asked where was the mother of the baby she was carrying, she answered: "It was hers." And when I asked her age and the baby's, she answered: "She was 11 and the baby was a year and a half." Though her being homeless, made sense of everything in her case considering the condition of my country. Though somewhere around the world, children are being wed and forced with s** at a young of nine and most of them die of childbirth. The world is a f***-up place, at least we're living in better times unlike the Medieval period where you get accused as a witch and burned at stake just for using herbs as a medicine.

They were used in duels and why should they only be used against unarmored and inferior opponents? the second weapon is just used for blocking and It can do it's job quite well. They were not used for attacking.

Actually they were used in war especially in India, China, Thailand, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Laos and the Philippines. Most of the opponents had little to no armor so it makes sense. And its not wasteful amounts of training, if it was then why the hell do Westerners copy Eskrima, Arnis, Kali or FMA. American and Russian Special Forces use it as part of their training, I don't think it is wasteful if you have two of the most deadliest and feared Special Forces in the World using it for a reason.

But even with minimum shield coverage 1 (which in the game is displayed as 2) and even with 0 it still catches missiles. It seems like there is some sort of hardcoded minimum coverage.

As for the grip - I'm not sure it looks better the other way...

Too high for me (and I just like when warriors use reverse grip ).
In any case, I will keep both version in files (I didn't spend a lot of time adjusting positions just to delete one of them ), it's just a matter of which one will be the default one.
Which one do you prefer (a question to everyone who's interested in this feature)?

Now that you made a version with a regular grip, you made a point of them looking better in reverse grip. I agree with them being in reverse grip screw historical accuracy, it won't save you from Demon Worshippers, Elven Archers, Dragon Riders and an endless horde of Zann.

Actually its low-fantasy since there is no magic present or magic is not playing a major role in the game. Also 30-40 year old women can still give birth, heck I have a relative who gave birth at the age of 52 so it is still possible. That or she "had" a husband who died in combat before he could do any "progress" with his wife, and this did not only happen once but a couple of times. Maybe she has the worst of luck with men, they die every time which is not pretty surprising in Perisno which is filled with every cut throat, beast, cultist and warmongering lords you can ever find. So yeah she's just another regular 40year old lady with a 51 year old mother , and oh that reminds me I just met a 10 year old mother carrying her child just this morning so yeah it is a possibility.

Great idea! For me though . Just reduce shield area coverage and increase (shield hp?) so arrows and throwing weapons can still hit you but you can block a lot more damage from melee weapons better than shields. Pros: Can tank more damage than shields; Cons: Vulnerable to missile weapons unlike shields. Also please no reverse grip, it looks better if it's not on reverse grip.

I've been busy for the moment because of the constant exams (Major Exam week ), projects and reports I've been doing. But I've been keeping up progress with the mod when I have some time. I did many changes to the factions, their territories and their equipment. I decided to drop the rebelling factions because I don't know how to code them, I'm still trying to figure out how to make a faction invade by checking Tocan's Calradia's Black Knight Invasion script in it's module files.

Wow really? Thanks! I checked it out and they really are very high-poly from 3000+ to 9000+. Tried removing extra things like capes and bracers but still running from 2000+ to 3000+. This would help me greatly since I was reconsidering using them and opting for Alex Dragon's models from Storm of the Three Kingdoms. Though his models don't have Spec maps and Bump maps which I don't know how to make.

I was rushing during that time cause it was almost time for me to go to school, but I do use PrintScreen I just forgot during that time . Though can you recommend me any good video recording program?

Also can someone tell me who is the mod author and where can I find these mods: Blood_and_Dust_3.0 & China_da_Song_3.0
I'm not sure how I even got these two brf files, must be those sleepless nights. But they have several things that I want and need, especially the Chinese Armors. I want to ask the mod author/team if I could use there assets for their mod.

I was tweaking the Supply Horses Kit OSP a bit and made rideable mount versions of it. The Horse Wagon is a bit awkward since the wheels don't spin and the wagon moves along with the horse making it do the same acrobatics as the horse. I can't do much about it since I'm still learning the trade.
Quality is crappy since I took the pics with a phone camera. School has been very very hectic so any in-game pics might take longer for me to produce. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Every 5 days you can go to the mercenary captain of the faction who sells faction mercs, to buy household troops. Here's how it should work.

You pay 5k aurums. You get up to 3 random household troops of that faction, like 3 hakkon veteran legionnares, 2 royal snipers. By completing quests for the captain and having good relations with the faction, you can decrease the cooldown, price and increase the amount of troops.

For factions that don't have merc captains:
Aroulo and Geldar will be found in Elintor.
The Giants will be found in Drahara.
You can get regular Falcon troops in ROTF

You do know most if not all household troops are OP versions of the regular and noble ones. And the merc captains already in game just train weaker versions of top tier units or just mid tier ones. Being able to recruit OP troops so easilly is a big NO for me, too easy considering money is not that hard to gain in Perisno.

Also Aurolo has a town named Qualetaqa? so it does not need to be in Elintor. Geldar and Cretas are the only townless factions.
Giants (Sut and Bakhal) have their own towns (Sut and Vellinaz respectively) also.
Falcon units are already recruitable from a merc captain in Fountainhall.

What do you guys think if I add monsters/demon units in game? Do I make them quest only, dungeon only or like the heretic army in Prophesy of Pendor?
Actually scratch that they are too buggy and they glitch out a lot.

They will be used by non-factional units, unique spawns and by units only appearing in quests. Some of these weapons and armor are only available after completing a quest, finding hidden treasure chests or by beating a certain unique spawn. Factional Troops will only be using real life weapons in order to make balancing easier and easier for me to justify their damage, weight and swing speed.

The dictionary definition of a palfrey is - a docile horse used for ordinary riding, especially by women.
While a garron comes from the gaelic word gearran, meaning a small sturdy horse or pony.

A more normal order from top to bottom might be destriers, coursers, rounceys, hunters, palfreys & garrons.

Oh! I didn't know, so rather than making up terms I tried researching them (and by researching I mean googling them and clicking the first few ). Thanks for the heads up! So I'm going with this one.:

Destriers are the gold standard of horses, they are the largest and the strongest of the warhorses. They are very powerful, and are capable of carrying fully armoured knights. Destriers are highly prized, and so highly priced, and only a few can really afford them.

Coursers, alternatively called chargers, are the next best thing to destriers. They are also large, strong warhorses, though not as big as destriers. They are known to be fast and well suited for battle, and were probably the most commonly used warhorses by knights.

Drays, or dray horses, draught horses (or draft horses in the US) are used to pull carriages, carts, and perhaps ploughs. They are ideally large horses, probably comparable to the size of destriers, but are not trained for battle. They are slow and docile, but very strong as their jobs would entail.

Rounseys, though were used in large numbers by the cavalry in the medieval world, and they are considered of poor quality, nowhere near the likes of coursers and palfreys.
