Yep, I'm getting "error 503" with this one. I just knew I shouldn't have walked away from the computer -- just missed the window of opportunity! Congrats, Pendor team, looks like everyone wants to see what you've accomplished. 

Wow, beautiful work! Functional and feminine. It will be a real treat to see these in the game.

It's just a real shame that someone felt the need to fire the proverbial harpoon into this effort. While I understand some of the eagerness to play it (who isn't eager?), it's disrespectful to the creators of this work. Shameful behavior.

Thanks for the update, Saxondragon. I hope this is a one-time dissapointment for you.

I try to do that too -- but I think Saxondragon meant that forested areas can easily conceal another army that's just itching to ambush you. When you engage what you think is a pitiful band of resistance, you suddenly find yourself being attacked by an additional, potentially overpowering force you didn't see until the fight begins. Sounds really exciting, and would really make it pay to be cautious around the forests. Might also make investing heavier in certain scout-type skills rewarding, too, but I haven't played the beta so can't say.

Thanks for all the work you guys have put into this. That's a long list of contributors, certainly, and it's clear that a huge amount of talent and care has gone into this remarkable project. I very much look forward to it!

It's going to be insane to potentially hear my wife's voice in Pendor ... exciting stuff! She promised me she'd play it, too, to see how everything comes together. I've never been able to convince her to try M&B, so this will be an event for us both. (Mostly she likes puzzle games, MMOs, and (oddly enough), Dwarf Fortress.)

Good luck -- this is going to be such an amazing world to spend time in.

Might be able to interest my wife in doing a few voice clips. She's playing with her mic right now, but we're having some issues with background noise(s). Like dog panting / barking / toy squeaking / my typing. I'll edit this post when we have success (or failure).

Edit 1: What sound format do you want? Trying to clean up some background noise with Audacity, too.

Hah! I was thinking something like this myself. I generally visit the forums a couple times each month, but lately I've been visiting the Pendor section two or three times each day to see what's new.

I'm more excited for Prophesy of Pendor than I have been for any game that has come out in years. The Pendor team is obviously working hard to make this release as solid as possible, which just makes me want it more. They're putting real love into it -- and I know it will show when we get to play it for the first time!

This is incredible. Far more than I could have dreamed of. Looks like I'll have to take a week off of work when this is released -- I'm still stunned at all the amazing features that are going to be in this release to take advantage of the brilliant storylines. So many things to do ... all with an incredible background rich in lore and storytelling.

Prophesy of Pendor has always been my favorite mod. I play tons of others, but Pendor is the land I most want to travel in. I'm going to be taking time off of work to play the new release when it's available!

Just wanted to offer my thanks for the many long hours of great fun I've already had in Pendor; I look forward to many more soon! The Pendor team has done an outstanding job. Every screenshot makes me anticipate the upcoming release more than the last. Good luck with the remaining work!
