I honestly never been so dissapointed in a game studio and normally I wouldn’t believe that they would need the AI because console. But console won the race, every game which is getting sold on console (but is kinda a PC game) is getting dumped down.
I dont even know why I still sometimes come here to check updates. Everytime Im here I want to write some useless **** against Talesworld.
They coulda just stopped one year ago and let modders do the rest. Instead alot of the modders have left and probably wont return and the game is getting worse not better and it never feels like any ‘community’ manager is actually reading posts and the replies they do give are some small questions about a bug.

I waited to call scammers, but now it’s official.
Talesworld = scammers. Will let everybody know, no one getting a cent or apology back.
I hare that I recommended this game and gave Talesworld indirectly more money.

Why not?
I and others got promised alot more than what is in the game, and now with console release you know all these promises wont be fulfilled.

At this stage captain mode should just become <snip> @AxiosXiphos generals mode idea. You can easily wipe out 20 troops by yourself without compromising your squad but try wiping out an entire 200 man army without losing the bulk of yours in the meanwhile.

Captains mode is a cute idea but ultimately it’s always going to be ****ed by rambo IMO.

EDIT: Also I hate to say I told you so. Everytime I brought up how “ramboing” is bull****, it was the “competitive” captain mode players who jumped up to defend it. Incredibly sweet karma to see you all now realise you are very small fish compared to the truly skilled players of the game.

lmaao. was looking how MP was going in this game. I see the video you posted.
so MP is still just using glaive on horseback. Like one year ago. even though so many people have pointed it out.
Can I join the next BL tournament. I'm noob but give me that glaive and I will have 3 k/d ratio.

Definetely a title that hits the spot. Just look at the names of most threads. It's mostly negative.
I also ranted on the forum fo sho.

Seems like quite a few are afraid to rant too much or is trying to push a positive narrative. Perhaps thinking it makes TW work less if there is negativity.

Getting some hope back for this game. It could seem like TW have a goal with all the scenes in the end, not relying on modders.
Tired of getting hope and lose it again, so hope this time it's going in the right direction. And not just refactoring bs.

Quite a few people with 500+ hours played.
Anyone like me with mere 30 hours and still thought it was 20 hours too much? I Think I used the same amount of time just reading dev blogs and cruising forum before EA started

I can understand releasing new features bare boned and with time building on them. But I reaaally doubt you will see quality in the "Heir" future, without mods. It oozes of hastily work, just to have something.

I saw someone write that maybe it was the a money laundering scheme all along. Gotta laugh so hard, but a small part of me was actually for a few second considering it. It's too comical now what TW have done with their game.

When they released the patch with the update to your ‘Heirs’ I was intrigued again. Until I saw it probably was the most uninspiring piece of work I have seen in quite a while.

I’m just saying that I have never seen a community try that hard to make other people buy from a source, that benefits the Company rather than themselves.
Sure you always have some die hard fans.
But go to popular games (with some hardcore fans) like TW:Warhammer, Baldurs Gate etc.
You wont see the same.

Agree with the workshop. But with that believe they shoulda just released the game by now and let the modders work. Instead of getting an open letter from exactly that community.
Everybody except TW is losing (I would argue they are losing too, except the hit n run money they got). Doubt that was the plan

Yeah we are talking about lots of people. You can find threads from before the game was purchable, where people afsked if you could buy the game directly from TW, to support Them better.
And I doubt Steam is the best regarding their Cut. They might be the best in everything else

I remember how awesome it was when the game ‘released’, to see soo many people trying to make people buy the game through different sources than steam. Just so Talesworld would receive a bigger piece of the cake.
Through the months how many defended them and believed.

I have never seen a fanbase like that.
To throw that away is beyond me. Even a CFO gotta look back and think how stupid that was.

I stopped coming to this forum a few months ago, since it seems pointless and just makes me angry to see the "process" of the game.
I keep hoping I'm wrong and drop back in to lurk lol. The never ending cycle. Feels like soo many people here have given up hope, only to get abit of hope back to be smashed into the ground.

You got a community with a fierce passion, making an open-letter to Talesworld. You got competitive players asking what is happening in BL MP. You even got casual players raging...

What a fecking disaster.
If Talesworld at least had the decency to charge 20-25$ like so many other "indie" early-access games, it probably would have been fine.

Maybe Talesworld feels that it's the norm for a game to have such a fierce passionate community, but nah Mount&Blade is special. You just **** on it and I doubt you will ever safe what you destroyed without a miracle.

I'm gonna write Steam now for a refund. Not because I need the money or believe they will accept my refund. But to put pressure on this stupid ass company.
Hope the devs in Talesworld who actually tried, are running from this disaster as fast as they possible can

I really thought something cool and exciting would happen with Bannerlord, i’ve been following the dev blogs early on, than I preordered the game and have been regulary visiting this forum for new information and see patch notes. I wouldn’t say I expected the best game ever, but I did see more potential in this game than almost all other games. And it seemed like big plans where made in Talesworld for this game. Sometimes when I was reading the dev blogs, I got the feeling some of it was a bit sketchy and not quite what the game will be/look like, but I always put those thoughts aside. Having seen how epic some of the mods made Warband as a game, having read and seen how trustworthy Talesworld is and ambitious. I thought “this game will definitely be good and mods will make it the best game ever”. Than I tried the game after EA release. What a waste of time. But okay this was first day of EA and the combat did feel awesome. A friend who didn’t play Warband thought this game was epiic already in this state and believe it will be best game ever with time. I guess I can see why and probably other people who haven’t tried Warband would think the same.
I have played a total of 28 hours of Bannerlord including MP... I had hope for a loong time, always feeling bad after reading patch notes but still had hope. Reading about some files are in the game not yet “released” which points to that the game will have much more to offer with time.

Now. After seeing this thread. I’m sure this game is 100% business with no real desire to grow except growing the fast money. I do believe quite a few of the Devs have pride in their work, and want to improve the game. But they are let down than. I kinda hope is not down to mismanagement from passionate people but rather from the people focusing on profit, otherwise it would be abit sad.

I thought Talesworld would show why it can be benificial to have a loyal fan base on a win/win basic for Company and Consumer.

I hope I’m wrong and the next patch shows how much they are doing to this game, as they keep saying. And yeah mods will probably make the game worth it anyway.
So thanks Talesworld for at least a decent base to grow a game.
And Big Middle finger to you Talesworld for destroying the child in me who thought not all companies in the world are wolfs going hungry.

I'm just gonna write the most simple tip, but it's something I've seen several including myself miss. Almost a meme, because nothing in the game will tell you and it's not only good but can be quite epic to use:

This is exactly how I feel. Unfortunately I did go on this forum and whine like a kid, after trying the game out after release.
It kinda just prove how many are passionate about this game, especially when you already see some people modding almost every aspect of the game without modding tools.

I think we should keep respecting talesworld. One can not agree on their methods, but it seems like a team who is trying and they aren’t only here for the cash grab.

You are definitely doing yourself a favor and I agree it seems more people should do this. Meanwhile some people are actively testing out the game with long playthroughs.

I want to play it so bad, but I’m in the same boat as you. The thing is, since many years i played quite a few games with a lot of potential, but it always stays like that, lot of potential. Sometimes mods can make it great, but more often than not it won’t.

Let’s sacrifice a goat and chant ‘butterlord’ every night when we go to bed, maybe this game will live up to it’s potential. If it lives up to 50% of it’s potential it will be really really good. Than mods come
