    That's odd, it shouldn't take months - I get replacements very quickly.
    It seems companions are replaced now, but for even older companions. It seems they die straight after I hire them )

    I have been waiting for about several ingame months. I have up to date GOG version. I guess it is latest release. Well, I will wait for some more time.

    I have discovered that some clans (mostly created by me. through granting lands to companions) are not listed in any culture. They do not belong to any culture at all? And some clans, which is even more weird, are, for example, "Imperial", despite there are no clan member with imperial culture...

    Renewable companions, like lords and ladies. Because now number of companions is limited, as I understand, and they getting older and older. My Amalulf I The Great united Calradia under vlandian rule, his son Rafard The Trader used ultimate trading skills to buy all major towns. Now I plan an ultimate destruction of all hostile parties remaining (mercs, lords), for Rafard's successor Ined The Bloody is sadistic, cruel and dishonorable in every way.
    The problem is, I can not find sutable companions because they all rather old or dead by now. Also I would like more interesting backgrounds for companions.
    P.S. It seems en eternity passed since I've been here last time, discussing Mount&Blade and Warband.

    My faction lost all towns and castles. I decided to support claimant, but

    I also can not leave faction, because there is no ruler to find, and other rulers say - "I can't take you as my vassal because you are vassal of Dustum Khan" and i can not take any other claimant quest, because claimants say - "You still helping Dustum Khan. We can not be pupets of Khergit Khanat".
    And it seems that no one is going to declare war on me. (We now have peace with Swadians). so i could lost battle and my faction would be eliminated.

    suddenly all lords of Khanate renounced their oath to Sanjar Khan, and joined Sarranid Sultanate. So, my quest for claimant is finished - "Khergit Khanate is no more". (But quest still in my questlog, like it is not finished) The funny thing is that new khan (Dustum Khan) inherited nothing ))...

    ОК, well, It seems that in 1.5 they made ability to use our own shaders - it's good. May be later they include ability to use different skeletons(or it's already included?) and unlimited amount of animations. That would be great.

    How may i add an item i've just created directly to my character or to items for sale in towns? I tested it - it is in game but i'm going through all map and in any town can't see it for sale.

    why my textured model looks black in OpenBRF? Although in game it looks normal.

    Shall i open in OpenBRF (it is really a great tool) some nordic swor for example and look through for its shader settings?
    Is there any documentation on shader modes in warband engine? I mean explanation of regimes, and coefficients and so on. As far as i understand - game uses rgl engine(it's own) written on C++, and using directX directives. May be it is a good idea to look through directx manuals? Or game creates it's own shaders?
    It looks like your specular is working fine to me. If you want it to be more intense, try turning the Spec RGB higher on your material in OpenBRF (set all the numbers higher).
    Thank you ) is there any way to make a grip less narrow? I mean - to make hands of character hold sword's grip in more natural way - the distance between arms must be larger, like when character holds polearm, but not so large.

    You have to edit that specific animation for that.
    My I add my own and link it to this sword? I've found in game resouces some animations, and OpenBRF seem can swich between them and add new as well. If there is any tutorial on adding animation i would be very grateful if could give me a link to it.

    maybe my texture is really too dark or i shall calculate separate diffuse texture instead of using original texture as diffuse map?
