No, the manual gives you information that isn't concrete or detailed enough. Other than that, I do love the game, especially with the VIP mod for Revolutions.

Looking back on some of the comments here, my opinion about Victoria's learning curve is this:

It was absolute bollocks when I first tried it, the interface was complicated and there was nothing that taught you how to play it properly. After loads of studying up on it's Wiki and on the forums, I finally got it. It was a purely **** way, though.

The devs are working on that now, though. They're going to include a tutorial with Victoria 2, and the interface should be more accessible. That being said, all of the paradox games have a steep learning curve. The best way to learn is to ask a friend to guide you through it, really.

Back on track, the Semper Fi expansion might improve the game some, but there was a big controversy on the Paradox Forums. Basically, their customers were pissed about paying to have stuff fixed that should've been fixed at the start.

I agree with that to some extent, not even four patches were enough to fix HoI3. They rushed the game and got ****, it's their own fault. I hope they've learned their lesson; I don't want to see Vicky 2 get ****ed up

As of now I haven't planned on something big in artillery, I just want it implemented eventually. The cannon's horse-drawn, I believe. I was unable to find much information online. Still looking though.

I'd say don't let them, but that's just so the concept of war isn't spread to the other half of the human population.

It's just an incident that happened once in the server, I was there. Is there even a reason to bring it on to to the forums here?
