Another idea for an
order quest that won't be taken into account, for a change

. I was thinking about the forced exile of a certain religious group from a certain village or town. For instance, the expulsion of the jews ordered by King Edward I of England in 1290. Or the pillaging of Toledo's muslim quarter by the European Crusaders that came to the Peninsula to help in the Reconquista.
On a more local scope, a religious order grand master could request the change of a certain village culture.
Let's take Order of Santiago. If any villages or towns owned by Castille (its associated faction) is of a different culture (perhaps limit it to a different religion), a grandmaster could ask you to expel those people. You would have to ask the King of Castille (the village's owner faction) for permission (persuasion check) and then, if failed, quest's over, or you could have X days to try again, in order to try to increase your relations with the King.
If granted, you'd have to go to said village or town and try to convince the people to leave peacefully without opposing resistance (persuasion check again). If they agreed, then you would get around 30-40 basic peasant units (which you can't disband or hand over to another lord*) of the exiled faction, and you would have to drive them safely to a nearby foreign territory. They would assist in a battle, but failing to deliver all of them safely would result in a loss of honor (you didn't keep your word about their safety). If they refused to leave peacefully, you would have to fight an uprising (like when collecting too much taxes) and then rinse and repeat, with an added loss of honor, or increased controversy.
*If it's not possible to create units that cannot be disbanded or given to another lord, then adding some low-level and non-interactive companions could be an option.
In either case, the village or town changes its culture to the new faction (Castille, in the example), and you get negative reputation with the exiled faction. And perhaps with the Papal States, if the exiled faction is catholic. In exchange, you could get good money, slight reputation boost with the order, a bit of experience, and maybe 5-10 of the order's best knights to join your ranks. They respect you so much and want to fight with you, or perhaps they've been given orders to assist you.
I sense a storming cloud above me, ready to strike me with thunder and lightning, and a voice far away repeating "remember remember, this is all about historical accuracy, you sinner"
By the way, I apologize for always using Castille in my examples, but it's what happens when you don't want to look beyond your borders for more examples.
