I am playing it on 1.153.

Are there many bugs on the 1.153 version?

An easy way to increase nord str and rhodok should be raising thier stats, mainly agility, If they atack faster they can become really strong.

In EG 2 some untis have a high atack speed , part because their weapons and part because their agility, and they are really annoying.

Maybe creating a nord longbow men with a two handed axe and increasing agility and atlechis of top tier units can balance the game better.

Affter all they are foot troops, they have to run after horses! They MUST have more agility than those lazy swadians that ride and drink all day and use heavy armors.

My tip is, tell your men to follow you and when u reach de the enemies tell them to charge.

Two handed + atletichs makes you the perfect nord melee ( I use a balanced sword of war)

One handed + shield makes you the survivor ( but decreases your damage a lot )

Nord infantary is good but they have to stick toghter or they lose their strengh. Stick with them and you will ahve victory!

Still no one can convice me that bows kill more enemis than a melee.
It can be me the problem since i am the blind guy that does not hit a hs everytime on my enemies and never miss any arrow.

Aim for the head on horseback. That should solve the problem.
And that's really weird.

I was using nord 1h/shield testing axe and sword. And i killed most of my enemis with two/three blows.

See the reach of your sword. You are using the bastard ones, with longer reach u must strike a little more afar than with other weapons otherwise it seems to hit with the hilt of the sword.

You should try the morningstar. Great weapon.

As far as I can remenber the main purpose of the more suing of spears is because they are cheaper than swords and for war they have more purpose.
In a duel a sword would have the advantage but in war, with more than 100 men making a wall of spears , things gets a little different.

I would not imagine me rushing towards a wall of spears with a weapon with the half of the reach of my oponents.

The problem is not on the stats or the equip of the huscarls or knights. IT is just the AI.

Make the Huscarls jump with great axes and them you will see HELL !!!!

I usually have 3 or 5 cavalary in a 40 army.

About the post itself. No, Sea raiders are not overpowered. You are just confusing them with nord troops =D

Serious, just get some more armored soldiers and if use mounted combat just get a nice horse and a good dmging weapon.

To read some of these posts almost make me punch my monitor.

The book itself is pure philosofy it is not a script to win battles.

Most of you never read it completely and still complains about it.

Your vision is soooo clouded that you couldn't see a face drawned in a paper ,you would see ink, the book itself is not time-related since it explains the basics of strategy.

You should give up of interpretation, just go and do some math in your life.

I am using 2h with a nord captain, Heavy great axe, excellent to lvl up and a bow.
And trying to lvl up with a real sword and a shield as a swadian master. Damm  really miss the old swords. There is none nowdays that resemble european style good. Don't like Bastard one, too slow. = /
