    Bugtracking - see first post

Hey there! I just patched The Deluge (and M&B, I didn't play since one year), and there appear problems with textures/models. Plate armour is transparent and all shields are white. When I start a map there are messages like "this thing is not found". Can you help me pls?

I take it everyone agrees that some padding is indeed necessary - anyone who has worn a mail coat and been in a practice fight will discover this very quickly.  I'm sure everyone will also agree that the people of the 11th century would have come to a similar conclusion.
I have many conversations with the reconstructors. They say that some woolen shirts are not worse than padded armor.
If so, why did they forget what a good idea it was?
Why forgot? As I know, bizantions cataphracts wore padded armor. Because there is a writting which describes them. But Im not sure. Because a reconstructor told me those.
If all those earlier cultures managed to come up with the idea, why didn't northwestern Europeans?
And why aztecs dont wore mail armor?

    I bothering you?
As I understand you all are surrendered. I did not see any argument in favor of existence of leather and padded armor in Viking Age, and in favor of the fact that the mod its of the 11th century.

@Dansk, I understand what you were directing that painting too, but I challenge the historical accuracy of those Norse depictions. I do not think they represent the 15th century Norse.
