Activision be damned, the Creative Assembly are the Devs, Activision were the publishers of S:TW/MI, M:TW/VI and R:TW, Sega are now the publishers (and thank god, they at least don't limit the number of patches).

The announcement on the Italian magazine cover has not been confirmed as true or a hoax/misinformation yet. I'll be waiting to see, apparently the date for a magazine exclusive is early February (can't remember which magazine).

I can't speak for Stoney, but I for one want this to a completely new mod, not an addition to an existing one. It just wouldn't do either mods justice to throw them in together. Part of the idea for this is that it is community wide. I know that is ambitious, but many hands make light work.

Anyway, the first thing that needs to be done is to find out who is interested and if they believe this is feasable. If so, we can then look at getting a design council functioning.

Fair bit of rock, mainly alt/rock I guess (for rock that is), metal - well many types, into a little "nu-metal" such as Mudvayne and Deftones. More into the European metal, melodic death, heavy etc. Bands such as Soilwork, Children of Bodom and Opeth. Opeth are particularly good, their music is excellent all round.

And who can forget the old favourites, Tool...not to mention the Maynard spin-off, A Perfect Circle. Crap, forgot; Pantera's good.

And I saw a comment about Iran somewhere, it may not be too far fetched to say that Iran won't be next. They have resumed their nuclear programme and their leader has made comments on "wiping Israel off the map" and how it is a tumour that needs to be removed. Even France, Germany and Russia (Iran's ally) have stepped up and condemned their actions. It isn't that often that you find those 3 along with the UK and the US standing at the same time.

The diplomats all say there will be no military action, but we shall see. We shall see indeed.
