Another bugged quest that I ran into was the Caravan Raiding Quest.  A Nord lord asked me to raid Nord caravans in order to provoke a war.  The quest was populated correctly (raid 2 caravans) however he said that I need to raid 0, and something about being caught and spending time in 0 prisons...  I didn't read that part very well apparently.

I'm about to go do that quest, so I'll see what happens when I complete it.

look in the quest log and it will say the number of caravans you gotta hit.  Just something minor I guess doesnt actually affect gameplay.  I have only had one quest bug so far I think, the provoke war one with their own nation, and guest text could be changed and it would be like a rebellion?

OK, it happened to me... Borcha ditched me at the zendar tavern in the middle of the night.  He also managed to convince my soldiers to leave too.  Traitorous bastard!  I'll hunt him down and make an example of him! 

Oh yay, good for you guys with the fast updates.  I havent encountered ANY bugs yet, but I have only played for about 3 hours.  Keep the versions coming! 

You seem very "mature" to me.  By starting this post, I think it shows that you're trying to enhance your understanding, which is sadly a lacking quality from most people.  What's mature to one person can be immature to another.  I measure Maturity by how one person will respond to another person.  I think it's acceptable to act stupid(goofy, random, etc.) sometimes, but it's imperative that you contribute and that you always keep an open mind about EVERYTHING.  Few things infuriate me more than someone who thinks they are all knowing, and mostly, someone who refuses to put themselves in an others shoes.  Also, miscommunication/misunderstanding pisses me off, because that is the reason why the world is ****ed as it is.  USA's relations with the Middle East, vice-versa.  To me it seems our Planet is lead by incompetent ****tards who just cannot get the **** along with each other and accept one another.  THAT is the BANE OF MY EXISTENCE.  THAT is the thing I would be willing to change by ANY MEANS NECESSARY.  Oh, if I was just given the power to do it  .  I always have trouble expressing myself, but in this I'm sure.

What I'm trying to tell you is this.  Don't listen to what hateful, ignorants tell you.  Keep the ones you love and the ones that give you happiness close to you.  Also, keep your enemies close to you.  Meaning, always look at what they do and why they do it.  Always try and look at a situation/confrontation/event from every possible viewpoint your brain can conceive of.  Look through the eyes of your "Enemy", think like them, just don't act like them.

As long as I care to remember(20 years), I would see people getting angry at each other.  Hating one another.  Which would lead to fighting.  Sometimes killing.  Why do I think they do this?  Well, I think it's because they don't understand each other.  If it was possible to live another persons life in an instant, then the world would be almost perfect.  I say almost because somethings would still be out of our control, anything not "Human".  Like Nature, the Universe.

I have trouble forming my thoughts and keeping them there in my consciousness.  Sometimes I will gain what I believe to be complete understanding of a certain concept.  But, It will eventually fade away and I cannot recover it.  This has happened to me a few times in my life.  I think it happens to others.  They just have to realize it.  I have to start writing things down  .  Understanding is hard to obtain, because humans are not evolved enough YET.  I think we're close.  It could happen in mere years, or it might not happen at all.  It is up to us.  We have to change.  Does it matter how we bring about this change? I don't think so.  War is one way, but it doesn't always work, sometimes not at all. 

Use the tools you have at your disposal.  This forum.  Computers.  Books.  People.  Anything can be used! 

I would love to hear, errr read , what you guys think about these things.

You're Amazing!

History in my highschool was not very exciting, so I forgot most of it... I "re-learned" some of the geography parts of it from Rome Total War  , and the rest of it from my persian friend.  I still would like to learn more about it.  I estimate my knowledge of each era is only about 10%, and of major events, 20%.  Anyone know any books that cover world history?  What I love about history is being able to learn small parts at a time and piecing them together later when you learn more.

So when does the lesson start?

I don't know how hitboxes work, but I'm geussing that your lance would have a box on its tip.  That hit box is "active" when you click, and when you couch.  So in theory, if it coalesces with hitboxes from whatever two objects at the right time, they will both suffer the results.  Is that not how the engine works?  The active hitbox on the lance makes a check every .1 seconds(more often even?) to see if there are collisions with other suitable hitboxes?  I have no idea if this is how it works, just geussing.  To me it seems the most efficient and quickest way to work.  It would also explain those times when you swing through a small part of an enemy(their hitbox), having the box only connect inbetween checks, missing the bastard completely...       

  Am I right?!

Seriously though, some of you have to stop taking things so personally.  They're just forums, on the internet.

Ehhh, **** em all.  In a couple hundred years we'll all be beige.  I tip my hat to inter-racial orgies!!     

Having a lot of experience with shooting a bow and arrow myself, I think I'll put in my $  .  My opinion, the accuracy that is obtained with higher levels of the archery skill is unrealistic, in that you can headshot someone from 300 feet away.  I haven't bow and arrowed in years, but I remember that I was good, I could get 6 arrows in an 8 inch area from around 50-70 feet, something like that. 

Anyways, I think the skill should be split up something like this:  0-20: PC can't hit anything accurately beyond 30 feet.  The skill will of course increase VERY fast at this low a level, just by firing 10 or 20 shots alone.  20-40: PC can shoot a little more accurately and longer distance.  40-200: PC has good aim under 80 feet, horrible accuracy above 150 feet.  200-300:  PC is pretty deadly with a bow.  Moving targets beyond 200 feet are hard to hit.  400+  PC can headshot a fly from 20 feet.  PC can headshot person from 100 feet. 

This is from my own experience.  At the begginning you learn fast.  The middle is when the least progress is made, you're still trying new techniques until you find one that suites you.  This can take years, or weeks, depending on how much time you have to devote.  Once you've settled in, THAT is when you become deadly, and then horse archery should become an option. 

The bottom line is.  It takes a long time until you can snipe stuff with a bow and arrow.  The current setup in M&B is a little to skewed, to easy to shoot.  But then again, how do you become so deadly with a sword so fast in M&B?  I dunno, I think at this point small changes just have to be made.

Frustrating but understandable.  Hope you can get rid of all the nasties quickly!  Can't wait to play it!!!  Remember, the majority of the community is here for the Taleworlds team.  Keep up the good work and try not to get discouraged by anything.  You know where to find us!

Here's how I did it.  Save the picture somewhere, then open it.  Zoom out so both images fit in the screen.  Then cross your eyes(look at your nose).  Keep doing this for a while, you should eventually see a blurry 3d image.  Oh wow, I feel sick.... 

Tip: Don't try and focus on the picture, focus on your nose, and "look" at the pic with your peripheral vision. GL

Enough with the personal insults.  I was only stating my opinion.

I would definitely pay a little more, just to support M&B.  I love this game and I think the team is putting forth a great effort.


Anyway, I really look forward to starting over.  Even if this update doesn't add that much to gameplay, I still want to see those graphics.

Huh, that sounds like an insane person to me...  People going all wierd like this happens once in a while.  Alot of it can be linked to certain diseases, and even brain parasites!  If you're going to mexico, don't drink the water...
